Unsuitable for street use on Chevy 88-98 9006 composite headlights.
The multiple leads at the circumference produce a beam pattern that is EVERYWHERE what where you need it. While very bright, it's producing an illegal pattern (I got a fix it ticket) as the beam goes above the hood line even when adjusted "full down". I could not find anyplace in the range of adjustment of the headlights where they would produce a legal pattern and had to swtich back to my HID's (which have poor color rendition, but put out similar overall illumination). I was constantly flashed by other drivers assuming I was using high beams, when it was just mis-aimed glare from the poor beam pattern produced by these bulbs. While they fit a 9006 bulb socket, but they are NOT producing a pattern that a 9006 bulb should (I had HID before this, and they produced a pattern identical to factory halogen, just much brighter, these on the other hand do not even remotely do so.)If you have an off-road application where you are nearly completely unconcerned with beam pattern, fits a 9006 bulb socket, and are unconcerned with causing glare to other drivers, these may work for you. If you don't want to have more light, but still remain courteous to other drivers, produce a pattern consistent with that of the which your headlight is designed to produce, and are using 88-98 GM/chevy pickup/tahoe/suburban composite headlights, these are not for you. They are incorrectly engineered for the application.

I like LEDs / Sometimes
Great technology at a great price. The 6000K color is perfect, not too blue. Easy to install. I only wish it would project the light further down the road, otherwise I am very happy with this product.Update: After having these lights since late August of this year I didn't have any real issues until yesterday when one of the diaodes failed and now one of my headlights are not working. I checked the connections and the fan worked by not the light. One diode was completely out while the other was very dim. Not sure what happened but I will need to check with the manufacturer. Not sure what the warranty is on this product but I hope it's 90 days or more.

H3 Version - They are bright, but can be a PITA to install correctly.
They are bright, I will give them that. They are still working after 3 months, I'll give them that as well. Those are the Pros.Cons:- They are HUGE at the base. With H3's you typically have that wire clasp that need to go over to secure/ ground the bulb. This was a HUGE PITA and involved bending the OEM clasp. Not an easy task when you're upside down under a car.- The glass surrounding the LED is amazingly fragile, like sugar glass. I broke both bulbs with next to no effort use sticking them in the housing. A bummer for sure, but LED's don't technically need glass surrounds, but I wonder if that impacts their longevity.I don't know if I would buy them again to be honest, they aren't "Cheap", but thus far they have lasted longer than any HID conversion (past McCollough) that I have used. So a solid maybe? I would bet that H3's are the hardest version to install with that darn swinging clasp. I wouldn't hesitate with other bulb types that twist-lock

Revised rating
Update: read a review about reversing the polarity and tried that. The lights work wonderfully now so I updated my rating. Both lights did not even power up, including the fans. Bought the correct unit to replace the 9006 on my 2004 Camry, unless these don't work on Toyotas. Returned them right away. Also, the manual is very poor and does not explain any steps in the installation. A picture is worth a thousand words but even a magnifying glass is useless.

Better Than My Expectations
UPDATE 10/15/2016: After less than 6 months the passenger side bulb blew out and I am now forced to either replace the entire set or revert back to halogen, I'll go with the Opt7 instead. Disappointed that these didn't last as long as I expected.ORIGINAL: I was skeptical about these bulbs compared to the Opt7 brand, but out of the box they were of higher quality than I expected for a lower price than the later brand. Very bright crisp white light, installed these on my 2013 Kia Optima headlamps (Fog and side markers are led but not this brand), they use the H11B bulb stock so alittle cable modification had to be done but the bulbs fit the stock housing perfect. The fan behind the bulb wouldn't allow the dust cover of the headlights to properly seal so be prepared for that as well, I ended up just using tape to hold it in place over the fan. The throw is a bit shorter than that of a halogen but besides that these are a great replacement and upgrade and will last longer than the life of your car.

OK but dont recommend for low beam headlight.
I got these on my 2015 4runner TEP and they were very easy to install. Quick plug and play. In my projector lamp housing they just don't look as bright as some as the consumers that have already purchased this item. One kind of looks brighter than the other so I tried to just play around with where they are sitting. I may even switch them around. Fair price for what they go for. They still are better than OEM.update:I've had this for a while now and in my opinion, I don't recommend these for the low beam headlight for 5th gen 4runners. They just don't out put enough light in the projector housing. I want to like this as the install was easy, but it doesn't project enough light.
