Does this release harmful fumes when applied to lead paint? Ideally I'd like to leave it on overnight but I also have young children

Home Strip P & V Remover is totally Ph neutral and solvent free, however there can be VOC's given off from the paint you are removing. This will depend on the type of paint you are removing. If you do experience any fumes then please ventilate the room you are working in. I would recommend applying then covering with plastic film and leave overnight for multi-layered paint removal. Home Strip P&V remover is deigned to remove lead-based paints safely and effectively but encapsulating the paint preventing a dust being created when removing.

Can you use this to remove whote gloss on pvc windows

Yes it can be used for this application and has been used many times by customers to remove all kinds of stains from carpets. Recommend trying a small test area in a conspicuous area to check the colour is not affected but this is rare. Clean and then use soapy water afterwards.
