HISENSE 43AE7000FTUK 43-inch 4K UHD HDR Smart TV with Freeview play, and Alexa Built-in (2020 series) [Amazon Exclusive], Black

Had it very nearly 6 years without any issues. Yes technically out of date but if you just want to watch telly it’s good. As with most of the cheaper models like this one, the sound isn’t too impressive so we whacked it through a BOSE 5 sound bar which does the business. Just looking at what’s on offer these days and they’re the same price if not cheaper!

I bought this Hisense 4K 43 inch TV to replace my ageing Sharp 720p 32 inch TV and run it mostly from a Denon 1912 1080p AVR Receiver. Whilst i still use my 1080p Projector for films - i use this as for watching television and as computer monitor.Thus far i haven't been able make too much use of the 4K picture - i do have a 4K Blu Ray Recorder but its run via the 1080 receiver - but its worth having for the future. But still in 1080p the picture is stunning.So, I am delighted with the results, the picture is big and crystal clear and whilst i run the sound from an AV amp via an optical cable, the inbuilt DTS speakers are certainly no slouch.Installation was straight forward, the only tricky task was fitting the feet and ensuring that my AV amp handled the sound from the AV receiver and not the TV. A slight complaint is that the cable inputs on the TV are on the left hand side (from the front) rather than the right so i have had a buy some longer cables.There are plenty of useful apps such as YouTube, Amazon Prime and Netflix - although I don't use the later.The only real issues are with some of inbuilt software such as the TV guide isn't as intuitive as other TVS or my Panasonic Blu Ray recorder which is more a nuisance than a problem.Overall this is great TV at a great price.

I bought this to replace a 55" Samsung which, at 6 years old, was beginning to be rather tiresome (eg, "There's a problem with the fan, will switch myself off soon to avoid damage" etc. Hey listen up guys - it doesn't have a fan!!!)So this Hisense, at one-sixth of the price of the Samsung, is utterly brilliant. I spent a few nights popping into the menu to jiggle brightness, contrast, and so on, and now it's spot on. I did perceive a problem whereby the picture seemed to go darker in dark scenes, but five mins on the phone with a very helpful support desk chap called Adam provided the answer.I'm subtracting one star because the sound is delayed a little on Bluetooth headphones and the only menu options permit you to delay it further, not advance it. Adam at the helpdesk declared that there was no solution to this. So just don't look at their lips while watching!!!Finally, it displays my home-made 4K movie material just perfectly via a USB stick.A good telly!

I wanted to leave a review so I could help others like myself.I was after a 4K 65" HDR Panel with decent viewing angles and great input lag/response times.I mostly play 4K HDR movies from my laptop via HDMI, along with AAA title games (Flight Simulator 2020, Forza, Call of Duty ect).This TV turned out to be - PERFECT!The response times are below 20ms, making it feel much like a decent gaming monitor rather than a laggy TV.At first I was disappointed to find the TV would only go to 4K 30HZ, however I just needed to enable enhanced HDMI in the TV settings, 4K 60HZ now working great! Even over HDMI!The colours are super vibrant, no complaints here.Viewing angles are superb, viewable from all angles however when you get really around to the side you'll notice a drop off in colours.The TV software is great, no lag, Youtube always defaults to 4K which is nice.I've seen people complaining about the speaker quality, but to be honest, for a TV, they're not bad! I have a soundbar on the way which will be a nice upgrade, as built in TV speakers are always pretty low spec.I nice surprise was the "anycast" feature. You can screen mirror from your Android devices or even extend you monitors from a Windows PC/Laptop!The Windows casting/mirroring is however limited to 1080P 60hz, which is fine really as wireless 4K isn't possible yet.I think that's everything covered.Oh, the stand/feet were missing from the box! Luckily I wall mounted my TV and the stand/legs were not needed.

Fabulous TV once it was working. The remote control wouldn't pair with the TV. Initially, received a replacement remote, but it still didn't work.From day 1 it didn't work, had to get an engineer out twice, once to look at it and second to fix it, although my appointment had to be re-arranged due to me being mis-informed about them having all the parts, then I was promised a morning appointment and they had booked me in for the afternoon. When engineer arrived with the part (the PCB - the circuit board that make everything talk to each other) it was quickly fitted and the TV was up and running.This is a fantastic TV has loads of apps built in including Amazon Prime, Netflix which you can link your existing accounts. Picture quality and sound are awesome. You can also control the TV from your phone and links to Alexa.A must have for all you techies out there.

Actual TV was decent. Plenty of HDMI and USB slots etc.. but the fact it conveniently dies shortly after the warranty expires leads me to give a warning to potential other buyers.My averaage use was probably around 6 hours per day and the TV died on me after 3 years and 1 month. That's 1 year and 1 month after the expiry. I called and emailed Hisense support who said the "screen had gone" (Bsically on standby it blinks once followed by two quick blinks and remains on Standby) and they said to fix would cost more than a new TV.Anyway, won't recommend to anyone unless they change tact with a 5+ year warranty which is the least one should expect with the price being what it was.

Great picture and sound (definitely don't need a sound bar or additional speakers). Remote control is easy to use and the response time is excellent. Loading times for smart apps (Prime video, YouTube, etc.) are way faster than my old LG smart TV. Excellent for gaming with my Xbox Series S, too. Extremely impressed that it cost less than £500. Delivery was hassle-free with Amazon Logistics (not Hermes like some customers have had to deal with). Setup very easy, but I don't recommend having someone to help you when attaching the legs and positioning it in the right place, especially as the 65" is rather heavy.

Really good picture, very black blacks on the LED's - Easy to setup - The only issue I have is with my SONOS RAY Soundbar (only optical) & I can't get the TV remote to function with the volume on it - However not a massive problem as my Virgin Media box remote does as does my FireStick, so just a minor point - I replaced well known Japanese TV with it & the HiSense is just as good - You really cannot go wrong with this TV at all, hard to believe for the money!
