This is actually a great question. An expiration date on lip gloss depends on a few factors. The ingredients contained in the product are the most important factors. Lip care products containing sunscreen (SPF) should be discarded after a year. More specific to CO Bigelow Mentha Lip Shine #502-this product does not contain sunscreen. I am actually unsure of the exact expiration time on this product. I put in a call to C.O. Bigelow to ask what the company advises. I will e-mail you when I have the proper information. I don't think there is an expiration date. As long as it stays sealed, it seems like it could last a long time. I've looked all over the tube and don't see any expiration date.

Exactly like the one that they sell in bath & body works

This is the exact same product that they sell at bath & body works and it's a lot cheaper. When I got it it was only $6.92 and they usually sell it in the store for $9. It does change in price so keep an eye out but this is a very high quality product and it does not contain coconut oil if you are allergic which I am. It's clear with no color which I love. It's very pepperminty so not only does it taste good but it also feels very cooling on your lips and it's not sticky. It's very smooth and it's a very great product and I highly recommend it
