This product exceeds my expectations for the price. Screen operates just like you'd expect a roller shade to operate. Pull it down and it stops where you need it, slight tug and it retracts out of the way. Not sure what the screen is actually made of but it hangs tightly thanks to the bottom bar, seems to resist wrinkling/bending/tearing, and has worked perfectly for my Zoom meetings. Mounting hardware that came in the package allowed me to easily hang the screen quickly. I did have one small issue when I received the unit, but I emailed the company and they got me straightened out right away.

This is a high-quality very large green screen designed to mount into ceiling or wall studs. Excellent screen! The cheaper green screens can be a hassle to use prop frames or clothes pins. This pull down is perfect for heavy use and the retractable screen does not let light pass through. It is bit more expensive than other green screen products but worth it. Best low priced top shelf screen. Overall I would give this product 4.5 stars and 6 stars for customer service. I had a defect with the end cap on my first order. The screen would not roll up all the way, and it unwound the more I tried to roll it up. The end cap would not wind up the tension spring. I contacted Mollusk Ventures and asked for a new end cap. After I explained the internal part, he sent out a new Octus Wide Angle screen to replace the entire product. I did not expect such a quick response, nor did I expect a full product replacement. Paul from Mollusk operates a very customer conscious company. The new Octus GS arrived shortly after our communication and it works great! Thank you, Paul! UPS delivered damaged so it would not retract. I contacted the seller via Amazon and they IMMEDIATELY sent me another unit at no charge and SUPER FAST. I LOVE this retractable green screen system. It allows me to keep in my office and pull it down to do recordings on-demand. I was able to hang it above my wall pictures and it still clears them when it's down so it allowed my office to stay nicely decorated and even more functional. THANK YOU SO MUCH.

I needed a green screen for teaching online courses but was dissuaded by the high prices and lack of availability on the name brand screens. I took a leap of faith on this one because it resembled a more expensive model that I’d been considering. The first screen I received was damaged in shipping; however, the seller, Mollusk Ventures, acknowledged a problem with the packaging that had been remedied, and immediately sent a replacement. The new screen arrived in great shape. I am very impressed with the response I got from the seller and would strongly recommend them to others. Accidents happen but how we handle them is what matters...The only issue that I have with the screen is the spacing between the ceiling hangers. As shown in the attached photo, the hangers are 81.25” (268cm) apart, which does not align with common stud layouts in U.S. wood frame homes (wall studs are commonly 16” apart, and ceiling joists are commonly 24” apart). Consequently, at least one end will have to be installed using a Sheetrock anchor. While the screen is not heavy (~12 lbs / 5.4 kg), the anchors will be regularly strained by the user pulling down on the cord, so using the joists or studs is preferred.

I received the green screen and packing box was pretty beaten up. When I pulled it down for the first time, I heard a loud snap and the pull down screen did not retract. Since I threw away the shipping box and would be more trouble than it was worth to return it. I took it apart and had to put a rivet on the mount that holds the retractable rod. Not a difficult fix, but wasn't a great use of my time.

Update: (I changed the rating from 1 star to 5 stars)The seller worked with me very quickly to resolve the issue. A new unit arrived and it works exactly as expected. Thank you.On the first shipment,there is a bracket inside that holds the coiled spring in place. The bracket is attached with some very poor welds and my screen arrived with the outside packaging in perfect condition but the bracket had come off in shipping I guess. My screen just unrolled and of course would not retract. Day after it arrived, I submitted a return which is annoying because now I have to repackage it and ship it back.

Easy to install, long pull down length. Works great for chroma keying (green screen). Now my customers think I’m actually at work.
