This works great in a regular water pik or a nasal irrigation system. I used mine for at least 8+ years just like this and I broke it.This tip will slow the flow of the high velocity water pik so you can use it with your sinuses. Works SO MUCH better than those bottles.I have had 2 sinus surgery’s and this is what both doctors recommended LONG before the bottles hit the market.This little tip can save you $100’s of dollars in a nasal pik. Just use it with your existing water pik.

Nasal irrigation (washing out your sinuses) is one of the healthiest things you can do for your human body. If you work construction, paint for a living, work in dusty conditions or around smoke, this process will help you breathe easier and combat germs and irritation in the nasal passages. You'll be able to smell things, flavor, scents, and your girl a whole lot better! Besides, it helps your body to keep the bad germs at bay.Of course, you'll also need an electric Water Pik, to which you will have to attach the sinus irrigator. You're not going to drown in the process. Most people have an alternate passage in the nose wall (hardcore cocaine users only have one hole). while you irrigate one nostril, the solution will pass through to the other side or the sinus wall, and down your nostril into the sink. For best results, alternate nostrils while doing the flush.I'd recommend using lukewarm water to fill the Water Pik tub, and for first time users, add a tablespoon of baking powder into the solution, and flush with that. Some people use table salt (teaspoon instead of tablespoon) while they get used to the process. regular cleaning helps. Some steady users may switch to Alkolol, but keep it at a minimal dose until you get used to that product.What you DON'T want to do is try to blow your nose HARD after the irrigation, as this can backup fluids into your ear canal

I did not see this until after the item arrived and I tried it with my Waterpik.

Works fine with a Waterpik, but if you are using Saline,be careful to rinse well afterwards; you don't want asalt crystal buildup inside your unit.

I lost the sinus irrigator tip to my SinuPulse system after a move, so I hopped onto trusty amazon to order a replacement. This is an exact match to my old one that got lost. No leaks, steady pressure, etc. I knocked off a star because I don't feel as though this item should cost as much as it does--nearly one-fifth of the total cost of the machine, really? Seems a bit steep, especially for a piece of plastic that probably cost a dollar to make, tops. Overall though, I am satisfied with the actual item and my purchase experience.

This tip works well with the Water Pik 72 that I purchased. I used it several times and found it did a good job of cleaning my sinuses and leaving my head feeling clear. Problem is that a couple of weeks later, I caught a cold from my grandchildren and used it when I was pretty congested thinking I would be clearing out my head. Do NOT use this method when you are congested as it will cause the mucous to be pushed into your Eustachian tubes and plug up your ears....not to mention cause great pain. I told my daughter about this and she said never to use the pulse method when you are quite congested. I have since recovered from the cold and am again using this method to clean out my sinuses with no issues. I did not give it 5 stars since I think the packaging should warn you not to use if you are really congested as from a cold. For normal maintenance and cleaning out pollen and dust from your sinuses, it works well.

Bought this spare tip for my husband who started using my irrigator when he got a cold last year. Great machine and great service with the spare parts.
