T48 Klone Machine

After three weeks, 18 of 21 hardwood fig cuttings have roots and top growth, without use of the fan, with Clear Rez, and with rooting enhancer.

The product itself works great. I am bummed having to leave a 4 star. Having one already I was happy to see the design changes on the new one. However the standoff for the fan was not glued in. I did buy another one so they do work and they work amazingly well. I am not a fan of gimmicks but the fan actually helps. No pun intended. Bottom line I have 100% success with no root stimulant.

Even though I minored in physics as an undergraduate student, I failed to apply a basic understanding of thermodynamics and purchased this cloner with a useless fan. The fan can only cool the water if the ambient temperature is lower than that of the water. If the air is warmer than the water, you are actually warming the water. Otherwise, this machine seems no better or worse than any other. If you need to cool your cloaner or hydroponic water, build a copper coil cloner cooler. Make a copper tube coil 5-10 coils (like a spring) small enough to fit under the water. Attach the ends to vinyl tubing and to a submersible pump. Put the pump in a cooler full of ice water. Pump the ice-water through the coil to cool the cloner water. Plug the pump into a dual temp heating-mat thermostat to cycle the pump to maintain set water temperature. Trying to use air to cool water is extremely inefficient, and in most cases, not even possible. A fan on a cloner is actually nothing more than a gimmick. There are likely better and cheaper cloner choices, but depending on air temp, be prepared to otherwise somehow cool the water of any cloner you are considering. A fan won't cut it.

day three and they never even wilted no humidity dome or anything special this thing works better than i thought it wouldedit: day 5 still no wilt and root sites starting to form this this works so well i let the fan run all the time and 15 on 15 off for the pump with clonex gel and solution with 3 drops of superthrive.update ok after 2 weeks minimal root groth BUT this is not an issue caused by the machine it was my bad intresting note on day 9 i changed the water out and just replaced it with tap water and the root sites started growing most of my root growth happened after the water change so nest round im going to try out strait water and see what happens

This is the 3rd TurboClone I have purchased in a decade plus cultivation career.They speed up root time, the clips are always healthier than traditional heat mat and dome style propagation trays and I rarely lose a clip in the TurboClone.Turbo is also cheaper than E-Z clone without the sacrifice of quality.I tried some of the knock off machines from no name brands and they simply don't work as well and are much more difficult to maintain than the TurboClone.I do not recommend products unless they work, this machine is the best but in this category.

I rarely take the time to write a positive review, but this product makes me happy. It does exactly what you want it to do, and quickly. Just add cloning gel, cloning solution and fresh cut plant clippings. Come back in two weeks and you're ready to transplant into soil. Pretty sure this is powered by magic. Buy one. It will make you happy too.

I just got this item today and it was missing the rubber washer that goes to the fan plug. I can't see if it works because it's a fire hazard. Is there a way to get this without hassle. At least give me the size of the rubber washer so I can pick it up at home depot. Also, how much is a humidity dome for this item. I have the 24 site. Looking to give this product a good review because my cloning experience is poor. I'm 2 out of 12 clones. Hoping this product will increase my odds.

I was debating whether or not to clone with this product or a simple tray and dome w/soil. I used this first, and am amazed at the simplicity and ease of use with this product. I used 2.5 gallons tap water from our own well, and 1/4 t. peroxide and nothing else (not even cloning gel). My clones are straight and tall, just loving it. It doesn't need a dome on top. One clone wilted a little, but within an hour it was perky like the others. I use a heating mat to keep the water above 60 degrees, but below 70 degrees. This way it is easy to correct for the occasional times when the water gets too cold or too warm. Sure, I could build one myself, but as another reviewer mentioned, it has already paid for itself. I don't have the problem others have mentioned with the water dripping everywhere, just turn it off before opening.

100% success rate on my first attempt. Just make sure you use a rooting gel and a rooting solution for the water. I used CloneX for the stems and Gold Label Nutrients ROOTS to mix in to the water. I did get the clear dome lid included, others said it wasn't included but they did with mine however it doesn't fit too snug, there's about 1.5" gap so you will need to spray the plants 3x a day, I just used bottled water for that.I did have to pay duty shipping to Canada, hoped I was going to save a little money from the other seller who has some within Canada but luckily the duty wasn't too much so was still about the same price as other sellers within Canada.Thanks, highly recommend.
