Was worried this wouldn't work based on some of the reviews. Bought a sump plug too incase the pump didn't work and the old fashioned method would be needed.Need not have worried, this worked fine.Based on my experience I would make a few recommendations.1.make sure your engine oil is warm, flows better.2. Keep the outlet low down, it helps the pump.3. Pump into a container of a known size, helps you know how much oil the pump has managed to extract and how much to replace it with.Used a 5l screen wash container which worked well.The pump managed to get about 6 litres of the 6.5 litre capacity of a bmw z4.Even if the pump breaks next time out it was worth the money not to have to jack up the car and get oil all over the drive.
