1 works, 1 trash
The battery that works works absolutely perfectly. The second one worked one time and has not worked since. It won't take a charge and will not function in any way in any tool

New battery
Had ordered 2 previously and they worked great. My old Makita batteries are failing so I order 2 more 6ah batteries. All work fine.

Not quite as good as OEM, but worth every penny!
These don't last as long as the Makita branded batteries, but they also cost ¼ of what Makita wants for batteries. I have 10 Makita LXT tools and hate swapping batteries all the time, these do just fine and keep me going without needing to change batteries all the time. Also, these work great with Makita chargers. Only reason for the 4 stars is that run time being somewhat shorter. If you're not a pro, you're probably not going to notice though.

Horrible battery life, Makita 4ah batteries outperform these.
This is a prime example of you get what you pay for. I tested the Makita brand batteries with a set up I was trying on a Razor Crazy Cart. The test went great. I ordered these batteries thinking I got a cheap way to do lithium with hot swappable batteries, which I did but these units are horrible.1 - 4ah Makita Battery will out last theses.2 - they all discharge at different rates, unlike the Makita3 - one of the indicator buttons no longer works, less than a few weeks old.4 - they weigh less than the Makita 4ah battery, which is confusing since these are supposed to be bigger batteries.I have spent around 500 dollars in batteries that are pretty much useless for the application in which I purchased them for. If you’re looking for a cheap replacement for a drill set, these might be for you but if you want quality battery life do not purchase these.

Match original batteries perfectly
These batteries are a perfect replacement for the original manufacturer batteries. Much more cost effective than buying new Makita replacements, well over have the cost. I bought a pair of these a few years back for another set of drills that I have and they are still working and recharging like new. They hold the charge well

So far so good!
Obviously not a fan of buying genuine Makita batteries at their ridiculous prices, I've been trying out various alternatives. So far these seem to be the best. I wasn't sure what result an extra amp would have over the 5 amp standard batteries from Makita, but in practice to this point, I'm impressed with their longevity.I've been using the pair in my 36 volt chainsaw. The other day, we had a 12" diameter holly tree come down. I used this single pair of batteries to clear away the entire tree. Afterwards, I figured the batteries would be completely spent, but was surprised to see both of them still showing 2 out of 4 lights of battery life left. Very impressive!

Didn't want to fit my charger.
They say it replaces the bl1815 battery i have, and it did smoothly. I have to really slam it into the charger though to get it in. I had read a review on another battery, the guy said something has to be cut off/shaved down. There is one little piece of molding on the right side that protrudes just a bit, i shaved it off thinking it was catching on it. That wasnt the problem, it appears the yellow plug section on the bl1815 sticks out of the battery about a 16th og an inch higher than this new battery. If i get it slid in the charger about a half to three quarters of an inch from being fully in and hit it semi hard/firmly on the back it will go in and it does charge. I did it a few times to see if it was going to break, so far so good. They seem to be good quality makita batteries, and not knockoffs so compared to 79.00 dollars for one bl1815 im satisfied. Maybe the are made wrong and that's why they are such a good deal, but as long as my charger don't break I'll be happy with them.

I'm a contractor
Great price, I only gave a 3 star for longevity as I've only had them for 3 months. They hold a harge just fine.
