Best laptop I've ever had for under £500. I'm a definite HP convert now. Very good value for money. Can't fault it. Its very fast. Good sized SSD memory, Screen better than the other laptops I've had before. I use this for both work and leisure and it manages both very well.

I spent some time researching laptop options. I wanted the laptop for personal use mainly for emails, reading, Netflix and online shopping. I do not game so did not feel I needed anything too fancy. I previosuly have had a mac but felt it I did not have a need to get another mac given my needs.This laptop is great quality, a really great size and I feel the sound is great too.The seller had it with me a day earlier than originally anticipated. It was well packaged and overall, I am delighted with the price, delivery and service.

I bought this to replace my previous HP laptop, which I'd had for nearly seven years and was showing its age. It arrived very promptly and in an impressively compact box, free from the excessive packaging we've become accustomed to.All the lovely things about a brand-new laptop are present and correct - its start-up and shutdown times are very fast indeed, there's no lag when switching between apps, opening, saving and closing documents etc, and everything runs very smoothly. Everything you want from a new laptop.There are a couple of gripes, though. It feels quite flimsy, for one thing. The keyboard isn't recessed like on many other laptops, and the keys seem to rattle somewhat when typing, giving a general feeling is that things inside need a little tightening up. The Enter key just a straight key, rather than the 'backwards-L' shape, which is a bit of a pain as muscle memory has me hitting the # key a lot. And as I'm working from home using my work laptop (with normal Enter key) during the day, this issue persists!The screen is taking some getting used to. Perhaps I need to tinker with the settings a bit more, but it's lacking the lush HD presentation I was expecting. The colours look washed-out and insipid, and the razor-sharp definition of my previous laptop is notably missing.In terms of transferring the contents of my old laptop, now that Windows Easy Transfer is no more it was the slightly more laborious process of saving everything on to an external hard drive then uploading it on to the new one. Easy enough, though. However, one rage-inducing aspect of the whole process was that it's set up to save everything in your Documents folder to OneDrive rather than on the laptop's C-Drive, something they helpfully don't tell you. Some judicious Googling finally provided the solution to altering the settings so that my documents were stored where I (and everyone else) normally store them, rather than where Microsoft would evidently prefer us to store them. So be warned!

I’ve owned HP laptops for years now. I bought this recently and it’s great. Nice and easy to set up and use. Great value for money

lightning quick, well made, plays games great despite it not supposed to be a gaming laptop including 35gig + games all the other stuff work great too and easy to set up well pleased with it

Surprisingly easy to set up. Does everything I want it to. Bought as a replacement for my desktop and very happy with it.

I bought 2 of these. Very prompt confirmation and delivery from the seller. Please note though, the init does not contain an optical drive as shown in the photo. Everything else seems to be spot on and overall I’m very pleased.
