180 Days of Language for Sixth Grade

SAME THING EACH DAY
I love the 180 days science and social studies, but this one sucks. Every day it's the exact same thing. There are no explanations, so if you don't remember you'll be having to look things up. It is not at all what I expected. We won't be using it much. I feel bad giving a bad review. Their other 180 days books are excellent .

Ease, Simplicity, and Engaging Material!
I rely on the daily practice workbooks to save valuable time. The ready to implement activities are perfect for daily morning review or homework. The activities can also be used for intervention skill building to address learning gaps. These books use daily activities to practice punctuation, capitalization, and spelling. They build student's confidence in writing with independent learning activities focusing on improving grammar skills. They make at-home learning, whole class instruction, or small group support, quick and easy. They include standards-based activities, easy to follow instructions, and an answer key to quickly assess student understanding.I love the ease and simplicity of this product. I have purchased over a dozen for various grade levels that I have taught. Having these workbooks, especially the CD that accompanies it for easy printing, has made planning so much easier. I highly recommend these books!

Great supplement to go with homeschool curriculum.
I really love the 180 Days workbooks. Use them for homeschool. This is simple, easy daily grammar reminders. Can be done quickly but help them remember various grammar rules and terms. We use mostly Khan and Easy Peasy, but neither have exactly what I want in Language Arts, this helps with lessons I've created.

Very disappointed
I usually don't write a review, but I had to this time. I would hate to see another parent waist their money on this book. If you are ooking for only a practice book then it's fine. But there is absolutely no instruction. There are directions such as...underline the contraction... but no where in the book does it tell u what a contraction is. Very disappointed.

Daily Quiz Book
This is a book of 180, 8-question quizzes to test skills it is not a book for teaching those skills. If you want a book that teaches grammar skip this book. My kid doesn't enjoy this at all.
