The shakers we bought when we opened our boba and coffee shop a year ago are just starting to crack on the lids. They've been used THOUSANDS of times each, and we're super rough on them! Considering how often we use them, I'm very happy with how long they've lasted. I'm ordering a few more packs now, so I thought I'd leave a review. To the person who said they got burned, I don't believe that's the fault of the shakers. If you pour hot tea into any container and shake it without enough ice to cool it down, it's going to burst open. We hit the top part and the lids with the palms of our hands to get them tight onto the shaker, and we load them with ice because if you don't, they will burst open.

We keep a perpetual martini shaker going in the freezer, and this one is doing an admirable job in that role. The seal is very good (you have to remove the little top cap first when you open it up; there's too much vacuum to open the main cap easily if the cap is still in place). It seems sturdy (meaning: I dropped it and it didn't crack or shatter even though it was freezing cold).It is also very light, for a cocktail shaker, and would be suitable for travel or camping (assuming your travel and/or camping requirements include shaken cocktails, as mine do).It isn't flashy by any means; it looks like lab equipment. But if your friends are impressed by frugality and practicality, they will be impressed by this shaker.

Great item for mixing drinks in non freedom units.We have noticed that you have to be careful when adding hot liquid to these. The cap will not stay on as the pressure from the steam builds. Works fine as long as we add in ice before the shake.Also have noticed that the plastic scars pretty easily from the frothers we use.

I'm extremely, extremely surprised this got to me completely undamaged/not cracked, after seeing the condition of the packaging once it arrived... so I guess that speaks on its durability a bit! I am unsure why Amazon thought it was a good idea to pack this just in a plastic bag but, hey... it made it alright.Used it this morning to make an iced latte, and it works just as a shaker should. Nothing fancy. No leaks either. I guess I'd recommend.

Order the open boxed one but The item arrived but has either broken or missing cap

I was making bubble tea and had poured freshly brewed tea into this.. the bottle couldn’t hold the pressure and popped open, all over my wrists and hands. Severely burned and I have no idea how I could have used it improperly
