Winton Oil Color, 37ml Tube, Yellow Ochre

Game changer for cooling down other colors. Other blues I have are all way overpowering but this can be used strategically to cool down a color and you don’t have to be so careful because it won’t overpower. This and van dyke brown are my most recent fave paints.

One of the best oil colors I use , great value

Great pigment, thicker consistency and texture at an affordable price. Drying time is consistent with most other oil paints in that it depends on how thick it is layered on and if any mediums were used to change it. Works great on any appropriately prepared surface for oil painting, I tend to use it on prepared canvas.

it's good, but not great, I didn't get the exact color I expected..Still very useful , just not as good as memory of some other ultramarine blues...can't really explain it..more of a nuance thing

I was recommended Winsor & Newton Oil Color (particularly the water-mixable version) by the teacher in an oil painting class I've been taking for over a year and a half.
