10JH 10-Channel Heli T-FHSS Computer Radio System

This radio is outstanding but be prepared to learn, its a little complicated for a beginner but I have it figured out. I am a huge Futaba fan they haven't let me down yet. 5 stars. Please try not to review this product at first, it took me time to figure it all out.

I read reviews and was warned, for someone new to the hobby there is a definite learning curve for this radio. That said, it has all the features one would want especially if you are serious about having flying (the one I am using is specifically for Helis). If I had to give warnings it would be: 1) the information on Futaba products is more sparse than I would have imagined. It is out there, but seems there is more information readily available on other radios. 2) I am not seeing the wide spread support of T-FHSS, seems S-FHSS is where most models are ready to fly, you'd have to use/acquire a Futaba receiver to get the telemetry information (very small annoyance). 3) the voice warnings require a headphone be plugged in... I was lulled into believing the volume was because the transmitter would talk to me without the need for a headphone - oopsie, again, it is a GREAT BEGINNER radio... the number of switches, programmability is all there and the radio works. I've had one minor drop (30 inches off desk-NOT RECOMMENDED) and it handled it fine. Also it works with many sims if you acquire the Futaba WSC-1 USB adapter (HIGHLY RECOMMENDED if you are new to RC Helis)

I received a 10 channel controller but only an eight channel receiver.

While I have experience with the T8J, I've never set one up from the beginning - my T8J was programmed and set to go with my hexacopter. I found the T10J to be somewhat difficult. The manual is not user friendly, at all. Other feedback I've seen has been similar, the manual is challenging to follow/understand. The operating manual was little help in getting this setup. Now, I'm relying on user forums and groups - although, I think a good option might be some of the other advanced and easy to use radio controls that are on the market. Building my new hex from scratch was simple up until this part!

Love this radio. Excellent control and customization.

This has worked exceptionally well in my DJI hexacopter drone. It's capabilities far exceed mine and I am very pleased so far.

This rc radio is ok. It is not as easy to set up as other radios are. The display is easy to read even in the sun. I like how it has settings for drones, that is the main reason I ordered it. I will update this review after I have some more flight time with it.

I use it for a drone it's got good range and lots of features. Once you set up your drone you can forget all the other features for helicopters and any other thing that you don't need it doesn't get in the way.
