I am a dog walker by trade, and I though tI would invest in this fishing vest / gilet to keep my various dog walking bits and bobs in - poo bags, keys, dog treats, tissues, calling cards, my mobile phone, etc. I had bought a similar item, but I found that the fabric wasn't durable enough for everyday use. This KTWOLEN brand vest is so much better. Made from durable, but flexible cotton canvas, I have owned it for nearly three months now, and it has endured hot sun, torrential summer downpours and a lot of punishment. The velcro hasn't worn, the zips are working fine, and there's not so much as a loose thread. The canvas fabric - mine is in charcoal grey - is excellent. and it comes with loads of pockets that keep my stuff accessible, but safe. Very impressed, and at a shade of £33 represents excellent value for money. An excellent product that I am very happy to recommend.

This is really handy as it has loads of pockets , the construction feels solid and I am very pleased with it , exactly as seen on the photo and a perfect fit .

My only criticism would be the quality of the from zip (the pocket zips are fine). It’s hard to do up and undo. A soft lead pencil helped but I hardly ever wear the jacket with it zipped up so not an issue. Wore it throughout trips to the Serengeti and Ngorongoro and it was perfect. Need a pocket? This has the lot. Practical, well fitting, quality, and…. Did I mention it had pockets. All sorts of sizes. example a bag of shredded lettuce, a bottle of French dressing and a pack of ham. All stowed and no bulges. Perfect

I have wanted a new waistcoat (gilet) for some years after my old one wore out. This one exceeds expectations. The material is cotton of a denim weave which is strong and fashionable.The fit was precise. I wear an XL sweatshirt, and the XL waistcoat fits over it perfectly.As a pipe smoker who is travelling, I need multiple strong pockets for wallet, pipe, pipe tool, reading glasses, passport, cash, handkerchief etc. Not wanting to carry a handbag I use a pocketed waistcoat. This one is perfect and I am glad I bought it. The inside pockets provide extra security for a passport and emergency cash, useful for avoiding pickpockets (I have been a victim in the past).Should also note this waistcoat is not overly long, and can be worn under an outside leather jacket without showing below.

Nothing to dislike.Excellent quality and service. I live in London and secure in the knowledge that I have plenty of pockets for my things. And my hands are free when in London and I don't have to worry so much about safety issues. The first time purchase and I have used it in my home town and felt very safe. I plan to use this garment in London soon. It's very comfortable to wear a lovely quality piece. Like the style, liked the colour. Medium in this brand was smaller than I expected but nevertheless very wearable.I have had problems with the front zip- it is small, fiddly, difficult to start and the rail up which the zip travels is very bendy. Why spoil a good garment with such a poor quality zip?

Seems pretty good quality; but XL should have been easily big enough for me. It was too small. And I got a duck egg kind of green instead of the beige I ordered. I am going to try again - second time lucky maybe. Four stars, since I suppose that's what I'd give if the size had been right.
