Worked well in a 2013 ASUS flip-book with 4GB of already installed DDR3 RAM that was soldered to the board. I also upgraded the HDD to an SSD with the latest version of Windows 10 and replaced the old lithium polymer battery that had died. I also used the opportunity to upgrade the M.2 LAN chip from wireless G to wireless AC. For those upgrading old hardware, this is pretty much how you make an old laptop almost new again. The biggest improvement is going from 2-4GB of RAM to 8-16GB of RAM. This gets the OS and programs running faster. The SSD gets the programs to load into memory faster and files to transfer faster. The modern wireless card lets you download faster and provides more reliable connections. The battery lets you be mobile. This DDR3 RAM was compatible with the RAM already in my system and gave no issues during installation or use.

It is exactly as it described and as it should have been. That said, philosophically, it seems funny to give a commodity item 5 stars just because it was as advertised. Installation really depends on what you're installing it in. DImm's always go into the same sort of socket, so rating installation seems irrelevant - it's really dependent on the device you're installing it in. In my case it was a NAS that required significant disassembly. Not hard for me, but I could see someone else rating it difficult.

Used this on a MAc mini i had. I had installed linux on the MAc as its a 2011 and Apple likes tolimit how far up the OS tree machines can go. I upgraded to 8gb and Linux Fedora distro runs super smooth.

RAM came as described. Clipped in perfectly and was recognized by the system without fault. Wish I paid a few dollars less or a few dollars more and got some Kingston or GSKILL but my board only supports 1600mhz modules so this was what I'm left with. Overall happy with the purchase! A+

Have Acer AXC-703G; this DDR3 fit perfectly and works well. Good value purchase.

I installed this SODIMM in a Dell XPS 18 All-in-One, and it works perfectly. Can't ask for more than that! This isn't a great machine for gaming at any amount of memory, but upgrading to 8GB of RAM made a very visible difference in boot speed and general performance.

When one buys RAM memory from Amazon, it's a binary quality issue. Either it's perfect or it doesn't work. Nearly ever time I've purchased memory from Amazon, it's been perfect, and once again, these were perfect. All I want to say is that if you have the late 2012 27" Apple iMac's, these RAM modules work. Because there are 4 RAM slots, you can buy 2X4 GB to upgrade fairly inexpensively to a total 16 GB.

I was skeptical on getting this because of the low price. However, it has been over a month and a half now and the memory is doing great--no problems at all.
