I have been wearing earplugs every night for years now, as for me it's the only way not to be woken up by screams from a nearby pub or doors slamming in a nearby flat.However I got a bit concerned about the irritation that earplugs might cause to my ears, and so I decided to get a white noise machine for occasional use. The machine muffles passing cars, chatter and TV noise significantly. It doesn't deal with sudden sharp noise as well as earplugs do, but it still helps a lot. I find the white and pink noise settings to be most suitable for sleep. The nature sounds would be more fitting for something like studying. The machine also feels robust and well built, so I expect it to last me a long time.

I got this device because I have a 2kW fan heater for my room in the winter but I kept putting it on just for the noise and it was running my electric bill up. I can't sleep in silence and my neighbour slams their door a lot at night so I need something to drown it out. The 'fan' sound on this sounds exactly like my fan without me having to spend more on bills.I also really like this because it's small, lightweight, portable, and easy to use. It's also wireless and you plug it in to charge which I really like because I can have the device closer to me. Great to travel with because it barely weighs anything. The battery lasts a long time too I have mine on all night and it has never run out of charge.There's a forwards and backwards button so you don't have to scroll back through all the sounds to find the one you had it on. The only thing I will say is it doesn't come with a list of sounds, and you have to figure out yourself what sound is playing because it doesn't tell you. Other than that this is a great product and I would recommend it to anyone looking who uses white noise to sleep because it has helped me a lot.

Great for my little girl. She likes the bird song the best. Sound machine easily lasts for 12 hours on its batteries which is longer than any other rechargeable machine I’ve found (I’ve seen several reviews that say it lasts for 3 nights without a recharge but I recharge it daily just in case!) I like that it’s rechargeable rather than something that needs to be plugged in during use. I charge it during the day and then it runs off it’s battery at night. It’s easy for my daughter to operate herself (she is 7). We were using an app on my tablet but it would often lose connection with WiFi in the night, waking my daughter - this machine is much better and has given us back some much needed sleep! The sound quality is also much better than the app we were using. It looks very sleek and is quite small and lightweight. The only complaint I would make is that the quietest setting isn’t particularly quiet and my son can hear it a bit in his room next door (with both doors open). This doesn’t seem to bother either child though - if anything my sons sleep seems to have improved as well! :)

After trying a few white noise machines I finally found "the one". Bought it to help my baby sleep and ended up using it myself as well. I like that it is rechargable so doesn't need to stay plugged in, battery last a while too. It is slim and compact and looks nice. Not as many sounds as some other white noise machines but I love every single sound on this one. Volume is good too, could be quite loud or very very quiet. The only downside for me is that buttons click when I press them, but it's only minor and overall I am very happy with this machine.

I’m a maternity nurse and use a sound machine with all my babies to teach them to self settle. This is so easy to use. Quality is great and it’s recharged easily. I really love it. I e already bought a few as my clients are so impressed how it soothes baby they have bought the machine off me. Meaning I then have to buy another. And so it goes on.You won’t be disappointed with this product.

Product didn't work on arrival. Box was unsealed and had clearly been previously opened.Product has a cheap feel to it, clunky buttons and fairly old fashioned.Amazon Alexa's play white noise, and have all the additional features and look much better on display, so much more worthwhile in my opinion.

I'm so impressed with the long battery life - it ran for 5 full (12 hour) night's on a single charge. The sixth night it stopped after a couple of hours. It is not bulky and the volume control is great as it changes in small increments. Happy with the purchase and the children are sleeping well with it.

I like it, it does the job. Just make sure you always charge the battery. One night they ran out and I was woken by this really loud noise it was making. But as long as I make sure it's changed, all is well.
