Very good quality and works perfectly
So far, I have only had good impressions of this accessory. Its movement is smooth and fluid when switching from horizontal to vertical. Keep in mind that it does not have stops, so the plane may be tilted and you have to use the guides printed on the accessory as a guide.

I see no reason to pay twice as much for the name brand!
I recently purchased the Sigma 100-400mm DC DN for Sony E mount, and like everyone else, immediately discovered that I needed a tripod collar/foot to handle all that weight. While the typical price for something like that would be about $50, the Sigma TC-111 is inexplicably listed for $130! There aren't many generic options listed yet, but I found that this brand was well reviewed for other products, so I took a gamble that it would work well, since it was priced more reasonably. I am thoroughly pleased! It feels quite sturdy, and was simple to install. While the pictures don't really show it, there is a bit of a silicon like layer on the inside that provides a bit of padding and grip, so you don't have to worry about metal on metal contact. If you just slightly release tension on the thumbscrew, you can rotate the lense from portrait to landscape within the tripod collar if desired, and then tighten it back up for tripod use. The foot itself can mount directly to an arca tripod mount, or it has screw holes for quick release plates. I've tested it a fair bit, and feel very comfortable that it was a good buy.

Much needed for this telephoto lens
Ok, I have had this collar installed for about 2 months and it is a necessity for a lens this big. This lens fully extended looks like a modern age bazooka. With that being said, I recommend one of these if you are doing photography via tripod. It takes a lot of stress off the eMount body. Now, I wish Sigma would provide these via the maunfacturer with the lens, but this is relatively inexpensive compared to the name brand one. I still honestly think it cost a bit more than it should, but Sigma drove the price up for the 3rd party mfg. Overall, its a nominal price you pay for protection to the camera body, lens, and usability via tripod. I definitely recommend one if you have this 100-400mm lens. Time will tell on durability, but it feels that it was made well.

Way cheaper than the officially branded collar
For half the price of the lens' original collar, you get basically the same exact product. Follow the instructions when installing it, paying special attention to aligning the marks on the collar and lens. For people wondering, you must remove the rubber ring from the lens first in order to install the collar. Once installed, this is a sturdy product that I feel confident will keep my lens secured. I have used it on multiple shoots on a rapid sling strap and on a tripod. Not once have I worried it wouldn't hold my lens properly. Seriously, get this one and take the extra money you would have spent on the manufacturer's collar and go buy a lens filter or two. More bang for your buck!

Excellent Fit for Sigma 100-400
I ordered the Sigma 100-400mm DG DN OS lens and added this as an alternative to the very pricey Sigma lens collar at 1/3 the cost. No regrets at all. Well constructed, solid feel, and perfect fit. No instructions were included but easy enough to figure out. Comes with an Allen wrench to switch out the base. Only minor quibble is that the white alignment mark on the collar does not quite have the camera level if you align it with the alignment mark on the lens, but that's not a big deal to me. Highly recommend.

Well constructed, great price
I purchased this lens collar tripod mount for the Sigma 100-400mm f5-6.3 DG DN OS e mount lens. It is very well constructed and reasonably price. To install remove rubber ring from lens. Loosen the lens collar. Rotate the collar to find the right alignment for the raised screws on the lens and notches in the collar. This will not be the proper final position so do not freak out. There is an inner groove that these screws set in. Rotate the collar to it's proper position aligning the white lines at the top of the lens and collar then tighten the thumb screw. The collar is designed this way with an inner groove to help lock the collar in place.

Almost returned this, due to lack of instruction
Mine came without instruction. I almost returned it. You have to remove the rubber from the length before putting this collar on. Otherwise, you will damage your len. Other than that, the fit is good enough. It feels sturdy and well made. Good value so far. 3 stars because of lack of instruction.

Just as good as Sigma’s
I own both the Sony 100-400mm zoom and the Sigma version of this great focal length. Having done detailed comparison tests, the Sigma is also absolutely superb. I’m a well-known pro and if you are still considering which lens to buy, here’s my detailed review: https://www.amazon.com/review/RA16EO4QY2VI6/ref=cm_cr_srp_d_rdp_perm?ie=UTF8&ASIN=B08BHPVZB4 A few diss the Sigma because it doesn’t come with a tripod collar. However, at 40% the cost of the Sony I’m actually glad it doesn’t. As great as the Sony 100-400 is, the collar does not include an Arca-type quick release, a mistake on Sony’s part. Enter the Sigma TS-11A collar, ridiculously priced at $130. NOPE! This Haoge LMR-SM140S is just as good and just five ounces. The Arca quick release plate is superior to Sony’s version, too.

100-400mm F5-6.3 DG DN OS [ソニーE用]にて使用。 精度も質感も良く、純正品に拘らなくても十分満足。 回転もスムーズで装着後はレンズ本体に傷が入る心配はない。

Passt.

Purchased for a Sigma zoom lens. Works great.

Was looking for an alternative to the Sigma overpriced mount that should come with the Lense but does not! maybe a hinged Lense release or a swivel at the mount would make it perfect but hey detach the Lense to remove & use your tripod that it attaches too is easy enough . 4 out of 5 stars
