Sturdy material. More hiking boot quality than sneaker quality in that it's a little heavier than a sneaker would normally be. Comfortable.

These are the only shoes my kid will wear. Not sure what we're gonna do when he gets into adult sizes! The toe box will get worn off /worn out if they drag their feet say like on a swing but otherwise good shoe

I purchased a pair of tennis shoes for my grandson and they hurt his feet. When I purchased him a different pair I decided to only buy a name brand. You can always count on Stride Rite to make a comfortable and durable shoe for kids. They are super comfortable. They also have an insert you can remove if your child has a wider foot. The price is very reasonable. I love the color and so does my grandson. I will be purchasing Stride Rite shoes again.

Not heavy, pretty lightweight and soft enough for my toddler. I notice that currently he needs larger sized shoes for comfort, so I bought a bit larger than his exact size. He used to fight putting shoes on, now he is perfectly comfortable putting them on. Very easy for me to put the shoes on him.

My son still crawls and wore these outside crawling and the toe is all ripped up after one evening. Shoes used to have leather or rubber toes. This must be bonded leather or something. Its completely ripped up. Its a bummer. I like the extra insole for removal for wide feet.

I have had these a few months now and they hold up great!

These shoes are perfect for my son's wide feet. The Velcro is strong, but my son can easily remove the shoes when he wants to. We passed many StrideRite shoes from son to son, and they have lasted multiple kiddos!

size chart is spot on. my son loves these shoes and can slip them on and off with ease.
