Review update four years later
Four years in and thousands of projects completed with my tech job. This unit shows no signs of stopping. I might buy a second one just to have it ready for when this one finally dies someday.(Original purchase was in 2021).Pros:-Easy to use and see LCD screen with touch screen buttons.-Workings temps are what they say they are-Heats up and cools down very fast-Great looking machine overall aesthetically-The handle and hose are very sturdy-Easy to carry handle on top for moving-Comes with tips-AC cable is not cheap feeling--------------------------------------Cons:-When I received the product on the first day it was making a very loud internal whirring noise from the fan inside. It's no longer doing that so I figured maybe the system just needed to be broken in? No clue.-Getting the tips off using the holder is actually extremely difficult. You almost have to use plyers sometimes to get them off.-The system is pretty loud at full fan speed (kind of expected). But for the price I was thinking it would be a little less noisy.

Good build quality, lacking accuracy control
Overall workmanship is good and feels good in hand. Noise level is great at low air speed. It is very convenient to have the cool air / standby button on the handle itself. Besides, the system comes with 5 nozzles (not 3 as shown in the stock pics). This set includes 2 spiral wind nozzles which is really nice. I really had high hope and wanted this system to work well. However there is a major mechanical fitting issue for the nozzles.(1) The nozzles cannot fit into the nozzle removal tool coming with the system (as shown in the picture).(2) The nozzles would become extremely tight and difficult to remove once heated up. You have to wait until cool enough to manually wiggle it off. It seems that the nozzle diameter is just a hair bit larger than optimal. The nozzles can fit well and remove from the heater by hand without a problem when they are just out of bag cold. So I guess that the nozzle diameter was designed to fit well when cold. But the nozzle diameter seems to get slightly larger permanently once heated. The fitting would need to be improved to make this a really appealing rework station.Besides mechanical fitting issue of the nozzles, no other major issues. A couple of minor issues:(1) There is no way to turn the beeping off. This can be annoying especially in the evenings.(2) The air flow temperature at the nozzle would change significantly with air flow speed. You would have to take some measurements to calibrate to ensure that the air temperature is what you actually need. Not sure if they could offer firmware upgrade to improve the temperature accuracy. Wish that it would offer the capability of incorporation look up tables and interpolate the temperatures more accurately based on nozzle type and air speed.(3) Not sure where the temperature sensor is, but the real temperature sensor reading is generally not as stable as it appears, or not stabilizing as fast as it appears on the display.
