Nice and easy
Great telescope for travel. Let’s in plenty of light for clear viewing without eye strain. Just the job but I would recommend using a metal head stand for smoother control. Personally I placed a padded lens box in the backpack where the original stand was. All round, a good product.

Get a better tripod.
So this Travel Scope 80 was bought for my daughter that wanted to take up astronomy as a hobby. This is a good starting telescope or has been for her and she still uses it. However this is a hobby that takes a bit of a steep learning curve so don't be put off too fast. However ditch the tripod it is crap and not very stable. Get a photography one or a survivors one. With this scope you will see Jupiter, its moons and some of the bands. On a very good night the red spot but don't expect tons of quality. It will be faint. Saturn is visible with and you can make out the rings but no ring devisions. It can do some AstroPhotography just keep your expectations realistic as this is a huge skill to learn that takes a lot of time and research and can get expensive getting a good camera for it. The images I posted with this review show what it can do with time and patents. the first one is the moon using the 10mm eyepiece and an IPhone 12. The second is the Orion nebula again with 10mm and iPhone the third is again the Orion nebula but taken with a much better DSLR camera and around 40 stacked images. So not a bad gateway scope.

Scope Brill. Let Down by Tripod.
Lets start with the only down side. The Tripod that's why it gets 4 stars, It is ok to start with. but replace as soon as possible with a good solid lightweight camera tripod . Luckily, I have an old Velbon KE-3 Light weight Aluminium Tripod. One where the centre Colum can be removed and a Hide clamp attached, The difference in viewing is like chalk and cheese. . It's a great spotting scope, a great Astro Scope. Also With the stability of a good tripod, I can attach my Sony A600 with a T-Mount adapter, straight onto the scope tube. It turns into a brill 400mm f5 lens. 600mm with the 1.5 crop factor.

Good value but slightly disappointed
If you wish to see the planets in more detail I’d invest in better scope, also note this is designed for terrestrial observation. You would need to spend money on a 4 mm eyepiece if you wanted more power. The tripod is very cheap, wobbles too much and you would struggle to point to exact target location and keep it in place.

Not easy to setup or use for beginners. Not worth it for professionals
Didn't find it easy to setup or use at all. Bought this as a birthday present for 13 year old and I am quite disappointed as after spending hours on assembly unable to see it anything from it.

Great Telescope, recommended!
The telescope is great, easy to use, easy to set up and take down. Bring its own bag where you can store everything very neatly. Great for kids and beginners. Nothing complicated and very intuitive. A point to improve: The tripod. It is not the best, it is practical and small but very flimsy, it does its job but it is frustrating that after a while it becomes very difficult to adjust it so that it is in the place you need.
