Rodent Vehicle Spray 16oz - Mighty Mint

Worked like a charm without all the toxic chemicals. Our car dealership advised us to get this after we found that a squirrel was filling our car engines with black walnuts. They told us it was safe to be sprayed on equipment or the hood of the car and could even be given to mechanics to spray when changing filters at regular service visits, etc. It's potent, but fresh and minty. Problem solved.

Husband used in our 2026 Toyota Tundra engine compartment and wheel wells along with battery operated sonar strobe light gadget I bought on Amazon, the combo has kept mice away . Ps: strong scent did not venture inside the vehicle. We still have the “new car” scent

The product itself seems to work well, but the sprayer stopped working after only a couple of uses. Before this, I was using Harris Peppermint Oil, which has the same percentage of peppermint plus a little cinnamon oil, so the scent is a bit stronger. But this jug was more economical and had the bonus of a sprayer wand, which I thought would be easier to use. And it was… until it broke. The product itself seems fine, but I have to pour it into a regular spray bottle to use it. Next time, I’ll be going back to the Harris spray. UPDATE: The company contacted me after reading this review and offered to refund my cost due to the broken sprayer, which I thought was really nice of them. I recently bought another jug of this product* because it does seem to do the job and it is more economical than the smaller bottles. I am impressed that it contains 4% peppermint oil, whereas most other brands contain only 1% or less. As for spraying it, the best solution we found was to pour the product into a small pressure (pump) sprayer and use it that way. Goes on quick and easy with even coverage. So the included sprayer is irrelevant to us now. (Maybe Mighty Mint should think about selling refill jugs with no sprayer at all?) Added a star for product efficacy and great customer service. *not this exact product, but the Mighty Mint Rodent Natural Peppermint Oil Spray, which has the exact same ingredients, just a different color (green) label and the ability to be purchased on Subscribe and Save for a discount.

Not really sure if it works. Applied as directed no vermin yet. It requires multiple reapplications so we will see

It helps keep rodents out of the engine bay, it works very well, but I found it needs a lot of spraying to be effective.

This is the third time I have purchased this product after chipmunks ate through my car’s wiring. The first two jugs worked well. I layered it on thick and my car was known as the peppermint car. Chipmunks and mice were no longer eating my wires. Today I saw a chipmunk eyeing my car so I opened the third jug. Unfortunately; no matter how long I tried I could not get the sprayer to work. I tried from daylight to dusk and finally in frustration I turned the bottle upside down so some solution could leak out where the sprayer goes in and let it drip out on the ground by each wheel. Maybe I am not strong enough but I could not unscrew the top. I then opened the hood and again let it drip out on the different components under the hood. I can smell the peppermint on the ground and in the engine so I am hoping that will be enough to keep the rodents away. The peppermint does seem to work if you can get it on your wheels and engine. But the sprayer is a gamble. The first two worked fine. The third doesn’t work at all. Very frustrating.

Had squirrels chewing on sensor's under my car. Sprayed my engine and around my car every few days. The squirrels have stayed away

While the repellent liquid itself is probably working fine and keeps rodents away, the applicator / sprayer is total garbage. I got the 1 gallon bottle and used it two times on my and my wife's car engine compartment and also on the patio around the patio furniture. Third time I used it, when pressing the handle/pump, the whole assembly just fall apart. It was already dark so I put it down on my patio floor, thinking I will look at it in the daylight if I can fix it. Next morning the bottle was empty. I guess the broken nozzle did not seal anymore and the liquid just siphoned out all over my patio floor. $37 wasted and I had a lot of cleaning to do. I would contribute this flaw to the company laziness and being cheap.

Tenía un problema que un cacomixtle se estaba comiendo los cables de los coches. Entraba al cofre del coche y los mordía. Se tardo como 2 semanas en empezar a funcionar pero después de esas dos semanas nunca más volvió a morder los cables
