This gas cap works great on my 2008 Honda Accord. It fit properly, installed easily, and gave me a simple replacement for the old one without any hassle. I purchased this replacement gas/fuel cap for my 2015 Honda CRV, and it worked exactly as expected. Sometimes it’s the small parts that make a big difference—and this is one of them because I didn't have to have anyone replace it for me. Especially after I realized I could buy it on Amazon 😀 ! The cap fit perfectly right out of the box. It clicked securely into place, just like the original OEM cap. No looseness, no forcing it, and no issues sealing properly. The only issue I had was trying to get it threaded to my car, but that's a user issue and I will figure it out eventually. As long as it fixed my check engine light that is all that matters for now. After a short drive, the warning cleared and hasn’t come back. Easy install, simple and affordable!

UPDATE July 9, 2024 (About a month after installing it) Today, the “Gas Cap” warning appeared. I didn’t even know such warning existed on my 2006 RAM1500. I removed it and reinstalled it. It didn’t help. I know that I could’ve disconnected the battery for 20 min and then tried again, but since I had saved the original gas cap, I reinstalled it. Then disconnected the battery. So I’ll have to wait and see what happens, and if I get another warning like this I’ll just bite the bullet and order a Mopar replacement. I’m returning this one. ====== * Original review After 200+ thousand miles, the original fuel cap on my 2006 RAM1500 Hemi was overdue to be replaced. This replacement cap is a direct fit, inexpensive, and looks fantastic. To swap it, all you have to do is un-clip the retainer from the gas cap hinge, and press in the new one. It’s a tight fit, so you may have to use a blade to carefully cut the original clip. I used a pair or automotive retainer removal pliers. If your check-engine light is on, disconnect the negative battery cable (never the positive) with a 10mm wrench, while you remove the old cap and install the new one. This will reset the computer. If the check-engine comes back on after a few days, any mechanic with a scanner will tell you the codes or you can do it yourself (there are plenty of videos on how to do this). BTW, this is also an excellent opportunity to replace the old (and probably corroded) battery terminals, which is super easy to do. Thank you for reading, and good luck with your project! 😊👍🏻

My last gas cap lost its ability to seal. Easily swapped with this one and the seal worked, check engine light turned off. Works perfect on 2018 RAM 2500 6.4l hemi

Not sure if amazon or product is wrong ....asked for oem product and this is after market. This fits my truck but still does not seal right so my check engine is still going off

After installation, the gascap light came back after 4-5 days.

I carefully checked if this would fit my 2008 Hyundai Tucson. Listing said it would fit. It doesn’t! Won’t even go in the filler neck. Completely useless!! And now I am abroad and won’t be back in UK until September. How can you specify that it will fit when it’s not even close?

It fit my Toyota Camry perfectly. Looks almost identical to the OE cap. It fit tightly after tightening until one click. The old cap was worn out and was noticeably looser after tightening until one click. The check engine light went out and has stayed out. The biggest difference between this cap and a replacement cap from Toyota seems to be the price.
