Took a chance that this might work for making jams as an organic substitute for the box brands. It works! They should be marketing this as such!So far the varieties I've made have worked using the same measurements as those box brands. You need to mix it with a bit of sugar to help prevent clumping, and then use a stick blender to make a perfectly smooth blending in.This is the ONLY organic pectin out there that I've managed to find. Didn't want to use gmo or pesticide laden boxed pectin for the organic jams and jellies, that's so counter productive.

happy with the product, but the label did not specifically say organic, although it was supposed to be organic. 'organic' is absolutely necessary when it comes to apples, which are sprayed heavily.

Good apple pectin. No organic certification but you have to trust that no pesticides or herbicides are sprayed on the apples use to make this pectin. packing is poor as well,but you do get 1 lb for a good price point.

I'm not sure if this is really organic. Seems iffy. Didn't like the taste or the texture. I used it for a while and threw it out.

Seems like good apple pectin to me. Behaves like pectin, for sure. Smells and tastes like apple. I have to trust that the sources use 'organic practices' as the seller says. Good price if it is. Humble packaging. Plastic bag. I expect to transfer things like this to something like a mason jar anyway.

I like the idea of this product... it's great that it's made from organically sourced apples. But it's a little too sweet for my taste. It almost tastes like it has some fructose added.

Easy to open and reclose protective packaging - organic & an easy way to get apple pectin into your diet. Dissolves readily, but consume quickly if adding to a healthy shake as pectin is also a thickener.

I've used these by mixing them with spices and gelatin powder and then cooking the mixture in sauces. An excellent product that adds to the flavor and certainly must add to the health of the dishes I make.
