This is not a replacement to $499 range extenders
By no means this is a replacement to the $500 range extenders available online. This will improve the range of your phantom about 300 to 500 feet.When flying far, the WiFi speed will be slow anyway, so fly slower. This gives enough time for phantom to send videos to your smart devices if you want live viewing. That is what I do. When I see on my phone that videos starts to lag, I fly slow, and then I get video feeds smoothly.Also, this extender was attached with really cheap glue. When I pulled it out of the box, and let it sit on the table for couple hours, the aluminum foil starting peeling automatically. SO, I used my own glue to stick it together. Please see photos...As I said for the price, it is good. I am keeping this for my phantom 3 standard.

Range is improved but exaggerated in description
I like the fact that it's very easy to install and remove booster, I use a backpack case and fitting the controller in its slot with the booster attached is not possible. This appears to be produced via 3D printing, still adequate quality for the job. The tape used to fix the aluminum insert was not adequate, it constantly popped out until I replaced the tape with the high bond 3M tape. I haven't done anything scientific to measure improvement in range. I live on a small lake so I can state definitively that the the range is improved however, I don't believe it's anywhere near doubled, maybe 30% to 40% improvement. Best I can expect for an inexpensive, nonintrusive add on.

Great way to increase your range for just Small price, and NO labor whatsoever installing
Directs the signal into one direction rather than distributing it 360 degrees. Good quality 3d printing with the reflective surface attached extremely well for long term durability

Better than not having it.
It does work, just not as well as you would hope. In the city it extended the range about 500-700 feet on average, so I would still say it is worth it.

Great product, worked exactly as expected
Extended the range of my phantom standard by easily 500 ft. Could have gone further but it was dark and I wasn't willing. Highly recommend it.
