UGREEN USB C Charger 65W Plug GaN 2C Fast Charging Laptop Charger

Super impressed with this little plug that packs a lot of power. I have owned one for almost 4 years now and it's still going strong powering my mobile phone wireless stand and Google pixel buds. I just bought another one to power a Microsoft Surface Laptop and it works great for that too so very versatile. Charging speed and build quality are excellent.

High quality, compact in size, really fast charging. Can get really hot quickly but it's not really a big deal. Ive had it laying on my bed overnight while charging and my bed never caught fire. You can buy multiple of these and they will fit next to each other on a dual plug socket or extension. The USB C slots have enough room for fairly bulky cables. Not too much to say, it works as intended with no faults. You get what you see. Very reliable, Had mine for about a year and still works perfectly fine. Bit expensive but if you only need USB C, this is perfect.

Been using this every day to charge 2 devices on for close to a year. No issues at all, still holding up pretty well. These are a 'bring-your-own-cables' situation, but in a situation where you're picking this up on a sale + some USB-C cables seperately, it can equal good value. I can confirm you can do 2 laptops off of this if you really wnated to, as long as they have 65W fast-charging, or mix-and-match it where you do a laptop and phone at the same time etc. Slight quirk: these do 'briefly' stop charging when you plug your 2nd device in while you've got your 1st device charging... but only for a couple of seconds. I guess it's some kind of switching or safety feature, so if anyone does see that... don't worry about it.

Great unit, shame I lost it! It worked with many devices and is so compact and powerful - powered me through many work and personal coding sessions, small enough to fit in a backpack. It can get hot! Generally it would be nicer to have the ports facing out rather than down as most power adapters are usually below your device - so consider your use cases (eg if you have power sockets laying flat as may be in co-working spaces then it'll be perfect!)

My Laptop (the rather snazzy, Swift 3 - https://amzn.to/45mp74K) has been a good buy - but sadly it's power supply stopped working suddenly while I was away recently. So I needed a new way of charging it. It charges via the USB3 port and there are a bewildering array of different protocols and power levels to negotiate. I went for this one because it appears to charge both the laptop at a decent speed (it looks like it will do full charge in about an hour and a half) and supports the fast charging protocols for my phone (the excellent, except for its fingerprint recognition Pixel 7 - https://amzn.to/3rvK9QK). I like the size (it is small - so good for travel) and that it has 2 ports - so I can charge both devices - though more slowly if both plugged in. So, so far, so good. Comes well packed and feels of good quality. Speed - excellent. Doesn't get too hot. Can't comment on longevity yet - so will update review if any change there. NEAT PIECE OF KIT - GOOD WHEN IT WORKS All models listed by Ugreen should have been tested. However, my experience is the adapter charges a Macbook Air M3 laptop, but not an Acer R13 laptop, although "Acer laptop" is listed. Specifically: - when plugged in alone (2nd port unused) the Acer doesn't charge; - when the Macbook is charging on the 2nd port, the ACER also charges; - when the Macbook is removed from the 2nd port, the Acer stops charging; - when plugged into the Macbook's Apple (single) adapter, the Acer charges. SPECULATIVE CAUSE: Laptops typically do not use PPS (newer phones do). The Ugreen adapter starts in PPS (Programmable Power Supply) mode and is 'forced' to fallback to its PD profiles by an uncompromising Macbook PD negotiation, but is noncompliant with a less assertive Acer negotiation. This is a firmware opportunity for Ugreen (on a new model), but not for the user, as there is no firmware upgrade path. IMPLICATIONS FOR YOU, REGARDLESS OF YOUR EQUIPMENT SPEC AND WHETHER IT IS LISTED When ordering, you cannot be sure the adapter will work for your equipment. There is nothing in the adapter's description that will tell you that. Even listed kit fails PD negotiation, possibly due to sub-model variation within the listed model category. The best strategy is to test ALL the equipment you have that could possibly use the adapter, as soon as it is delivered, not just the single piece that prompted your purchase. I was looking for a GaN charger and bought one from Belkin, since I’ve had a great experience with Belkin products. However, the Belkin charge was far too big- and was not my idea of how a GaN charger should look. It was also substantially more expensive, and hence I returned it and bought this. I find it charges my MacBook Air reasonable fast- have to check from 0% But what impressed me was the sheer heft and materials. It appears very bell made and solid. I’ll update as I get more experience charging iPhones/ iPads and MacBooks But first impressions are very good And it’s compact! Which is very important to me, just a little bit larger than the 20w Apple charger.
