Dungeons and Dragons Icons of the Realms: Fangs & Talons

This is hands down my favorite Icons of the Realms set. Many of my best figures (that are used a lot come DND night) come from this set. The players at my table were all stunned when I pulled the T-Rex out as an encounter.

The large miniatures alone are worth the price of this set, but the medium and small really make this set pop. Great set to buy if you’re looking to round out a collection of miniatures. None came broken or bent.

I am a game master that loves to have the exact minis for my players' encounters and this new set is no disappointment. Sure the paint quality isn't the best, but when your players' characters are facing life and death, they don't see the smudged paint on the dragon's eyes but see instead the terrifying end boss that has terrorized the land they are protecting. That being said, I received only one double in this set and got most the ones I bought it in the first place for. I am not sure if they made sure to prevent doubles in the Booster bricks, but if they did I hope it is a practice they continue. The only complaint I have is the clear bases for the Large and Huge minatures that clearly stands out over the black bases of the Medium and Small miniatures. I think in gameplay this won't matter and will help players see any markings below them for magical effects and battlemaps but I haven't received feedback from players yet.

I was lucky enough to get about 60% of the models I wanted from this set and I'd say it was worth the value to me. They look good and save lots of time which would otherwise have to be spent to achieve a comparable paintjob. The only real downside is the randomness. There is some predictability in there being a set number of rares, commons, and uncommons per brick. You're best off buying by the case if you can, but it'd be waaaaay better if you could just buy these by the model. Inevitably you get a bunch of models you have zero use for and you end up having to buy multiple bricks to stand a chance at getting the ones you really want or enough of any one common variety to use them in an encounter. I would much rather spend 20 bucks on a T-rex or four kobolds than buy a block of 8 boosters and only stand a 1 in 4 chance of getting a T-rex or get at best 2 of any one common, possibly not even the commons I'd want. This is a potentially-frustrating form of gambling which restricts the availability of what are an assortment of really good to frankly quite bad minis thanks to the variety of quality in mini design and nature of the creatures chosen for the set.

Fantastic paint jobs, and overall an insanely lucky haul. The first 4 boxes, each box had a large elemental, and ended up getting the full set! Of the smaller minis, a nice collection of interesting humanoids, animals, and monsters. The huges fully won me over however, a celestial horse thing, beautiful dire troll, and lastly, my favorite creature of all time, the nightwalker! This is the 3rd time I've bought a brick, and this is def my favorite brick I've done

I bought a box of 8 and gave them as holiday gifts. The large figures are really cool and nicely detailed. Some of the smaller miniatures came with bent spears, and such, but otherwise, these were good quality.

I was scared I would get many repeats in a bundle but thankfully I only got 4 repeats and a TON of cool new figures! One repeat was a kobold and the other a twig blight so it's still pretty useful to build encounters with!

Pretty decent paint job and was able to get a good variety with only a few duplicates.

Am sorry but when your paying £117 everything should be on point
