I bought two of these to build with my nephew I haven built it yet but it is a very close copy of BSA pinewood derby kit, however it should be noted the wheels seem a little light and they might not meet specs for rules compliance for all regions so be sure to check specific rules in your area. Very good price for this kit.

Used this kit for my 6 year old son who REALLY wanted to make his own car. it sanded very easily but was nice and sturdy. will very likely order more in the future.

I liked everything about it and now I’m doing it with my grandchildren I bought 6 sets it was the best times in my life and I hope it will be in there’s its a lot of fun for the whole family

I don't think many are sticklers about the wood or the nails. But many troops insist on BSA wheels. It's on the Pinewood Derby rule book.This kit DOES NOT contain BSA wheels. They are generics. Otherwise it seems like a quality kit.

Worked great for my son’s first derby.

This block is much heavier than the Awana pine wood derby cars. It weighed 5oz with just the wood. Let it sit a couple of months and seems to be a little light now.

Son loved it and it go here a week earlier then we thought

We messed up on the first of ne they were able to get us the second one fast enough so race it.

I love it..its a great hobby.
