Very effective but when you consider the most common bleed is nasal these are soft and very difficult to push into place without using some kind of plastic spike. Sadly the old Blood Stop sticks that were solid and easy to quickly deploy are no longer marketed. Isn't that always the case? Anyhow I only loses one star for me as they are so soft wobbly and flimsy. Once deployed they very quickly stop quite serious bleeding.

Items a lot smaller than I expected but good for minor traumas.

Its ok but cotton wool is just as effective. They are fibrous and not the best for a nose bleed.

Have tried many noseplugs in the past and the ,ost effective ones are now very expensive. These help to stop heavy nosebleeds well.

This stuff works. I sliced an eighth of an inch of the end of my thumb, not paying attention in the kitchen. One of these stopped the bleeding in minutes. Not for life threatening bleeding, but for anything less they work.

It really works! I have been struggling with sudden, embarrassing nosebleeds so I roll a strip of this up and put it in my nose and it just stops it. I have used the strips twice now with the same results. Not painful to remove either. It is a relief to know I just need to carry this small packet in my bag, just in case. No need of tissues, towels and bowls! Saves my clothes too.
