This prevents from bending the Cable TV COAX, which is not good for your signal.* I do not know the signal loss of these adapters. The picture and signal (according to Xfinity, the TV and me) are great.* They came wrapped individually and packed well.* The Nut actually moves independently of the adapter. You are able to install this right angle and turn it 360 degrees around the wall jack for the position you need.* Just be careful when connecting large diameter RG6 Quad. You have to align the the coax center conductor exactly with the adapter or you will bend both pins. I rather have the connector pins be tight against the center conductor than loose.CONS:* No warranty information.* No specifications, testing, or frequency loss (dB).

I have not had any break or snap apart as some have noted, but even with those incidents I see in the review that the seller stepped up and replaced them - THAT is why you should purchase from Cable Matters. Things will not always be perfect, it is what a company does when things are not right that tells you how they value you, and their name.Signal quality / loss - minimal, a typical .3dB per connection points is fairly standard, I did not notice that much loss even, frequency degradation if present was lower than the equipment I have to measure it with, Impedance extremely low. Most of that may be meaningless to almost all users, and I imagine that people are only wanting this for the right angle redirection anyway.I will say that this is a exceptional model of the product, a stand up company, and it work as intended. If you need them, get them from Cable Matters.

Simple to connect, and if you have base moulding on your walls (which every wall usually does) you can get the furniture as close to the wall as if no cable was there at all, and at the same time protect the cables from damage from the furniture. They also work well on the television end of the cable to make OLED screens easier to hang flush to the wall.

Works well enough. They do exactly what they're supposed to do. Make a cable outlet into a right angle outlet in any direction you choose. They work absolutely fantastic for cable internet lines. I have comcast and I pay for 150MB down and 10MB up. Previously before the adapter, I was pulling out 180 MB down and 12 MB up and after the swap I was pulling 160~170 MB down (unstable) and 12 MB up (stable). So at the least, there's a small amount of signal loss maybe like 5% so a heads up but either way it's gonna be a win for me.With WiFi however it's strangly the opposite. On a 5GHz network on my router ASUS AC1750 I was pulling 110's - 120's MB down and 12 MB up. I now pull 140 MB down and 12 up.

I bought these because I like to keep my wires as close to the wall as I can. I have only used these on my coaxial cable that my high speed internet runs on. I ran a speed test with my internet after installing one of these on my wall jack, ZERO loss of speed, transfer rate, or ping. These come in a nice plastic back and each one is individually wrapped. I will update this review once my digital tv gets hooked up to see if there was any quality loss. That being said, if the high speed internet isn't affected, I highly doubt digital tv will be. So I give these 5/5 stars and recommend them to anyone who likes streamlining their cords for their entertainment areas.

Works as designed, but I am sure glad these came in a 5-pack.The rotating screw cuff is very flimsy, if tightened too hard (read: barely at all) the threaded cuff pops right off. The cuff can be pushed back on but the fitting is noticeably looser and thus useless unless you get some sort of childish glee out of moving an entire bookcase to check connections every time the internet goes out...I wasted two adapters by accidentally popping the cuff off while trying to finger-tighten them onto my wall-plate. I was able to find a balance with the third one, I securely tightened it to the wall plate but then immediately popped the cuff off again when I moved the coaxial cable too close to the wall during cable routing.The fourth one was the charm, the cabling was already secured in place and I used one of the broken adapters as a brace between the wall and cable so it couldn't move. This has held up so far 3 months after installation, but as I mentioned earlier it is virtually impossible for anything to mess with the connection as it is securely behind 200lbs+ of hardcover books.Overall I can't be overly upset, these adapters were inexpensive and they do get the job done. However, they did waste 45 minutes of my otherwise efficient network installation, so that does count for something.

These are cheap and priced right, but they don't last as others have stated. The plating is nice, but the connectors crack easily on their own and I've had 3 of 5 fail. You have to be really gently with them, seems like it's hard to find a place that carries these that don't break easily.Update: 6/17/16The seller sent a new set of adapters based on the problem I experienced that appear to be sturdier. For that I'm upgrading my review as this is a product backed by a reliable seller.
