can this be used with a slim bidet?

If you mean a bidet attachment, then yes. I actually have one and it works great with this seat.

Where can I get the hardware in picture 1? I have the seat and no hardware.

If you lack hardware, please contact us through the after-sales email, and we will send you installation accessories for free.

What is the customer service email? there's nothing listed on amazon. item seems defective but i'd like to try to put it together anyways

It is confusing on how to put it together but I got mine on fine 👍
