Great for children to learn more about the heavens
I purchased this for a 6 year old birthday party and He loves it. Would definitely recommend especially if the child is interested in astrology or astronomy.

Constellations Book (6 year old learner)
This has become one of my kindergartener's favorite bedtime books. And it's interesting enough that I don't mind rereading it. As an adult who has always wanted to know about the constellations, I really like how beginner friendly this is while also being full of enough helpful information that even I am excited about looking for these constellations now. We have constellation books made for grown ups but I admit that they're daunting and I often declare that it will be impossible to spot anything. But this makes star gazing seem far more accessible. There's basic but mindfully selected information that won't overwhelm new readers. My kindergartener likes the short blurb explaning the lore behind a particular constellation and it's nice to have a starting off point in case we want to investigate further. But I also appreciate that the writer didn't bog us down with too much text and information that might make a small child antsy to sit through. The way they book is ordered is also rather ingenious. The sections are marked by seasons that are best to observe any particular constellation! It's such a thoughtfully crafted book. Great value for the price (currently $7). My emerging reader is also growing more confident about "reading" it himself because the text is large. It makes it easy to point out words and sound out letters etc.

Kids loved it!!!
This book intrigues all four ofbour grandkids. Ages 6-19. They ALL love it and would rather star gaze summer night than play video games (well, at least sometimes)! Recommend!

Nicely done 🌟
I took astronomy as a lab science, while I was stationed in Virginia, with a professor who had a TV series for a while (Dr. D). I was very pleased as I read this book.So much good information is made simple just by pointing it out.If I would change 1 thing, I would add to the distance information how things are so far away in the universe that there is a different distance measuring system and explain briefly about that to illustrate just how far away the sun and other stars are from us.I love the constellation stories. We had an inflatable planetarium in class and my favorite assignment was telling constellation stories. The illusions are lovely. I think everyone who has ever looked at the sky can appreciate this simple explanation.

Fun easy for kids to enjoy on their own
My daughter is 9 and has struggled with reading skills. She is named after the stars and always asking where constellations are so I got thus for her for christmas. It took her a couple weeks to actually try reading this. Now she is showing me cool things she has learned and what she learned about her name. She takes this book to school came home and talked about how much fun her and her friend had going through it. It's been a great book for her to read and she only needs help on a few words. Great book beautifully put together and fun stories for kids. She loves showing how she can find constellations based on the season. Highly recommend this book.
