I'm a sound healer and purchased this harp for myself to use in meditation but also to use when providing sound baths for others. I found it easy to tune and the sounds are absolutely beautiful! It also keeps its tuning well over time, with just an occasional tweak needed here and there. It has enough strings to provide a variety of different playing options without being too basic or overly complex. I find it very relaxing and soothing and I really like how you can feel the vibration of the strings through the wood when you play it. My only criticism is I don't like the logo being branded right in the middle of such a beautiful piece of wood - it takes away some of the charm of it's appearance in my opinion but obviously doesn't affect my enjoyment of playing it. Overall, I'd say it's a good quality instrument for the price and would recommend it.

Bought this instrument after a couple of weeks research and as a complete novice. The price seems fair and the quality of the product so far appears to be very good. I was concerned it might arrive with damage after reading some reviews but the front is perfect and the only thing and it really is so minor. The small holes on the bottom at the back where the the other end of the strings connect (one of those middle holes is slightly different from the others but I do not believe it affects the play whatsoever, just purely cosmetic). I downloaded the tuning app which was recommended and it appears to work well. Having watched many YouTube vlogs I believe the strings will take some time to settle with the need for regular tuning initially. I have already learnt to play one tune just based on my ability to play from ear but I hope to learn many more in the future. The gig bag will only protect from scratches but not knocks, so I am keeping it in the plain cardboard box it arrived in as I'm worried I may damage it otherwise and I really want to treasure it

Absolutely beautiful instrument. It takes a couple of weeks to stay in tune. (normal for a new string instrument) It has a beautiful tone to it. The price was amazing on Amazon. It was almost double the price elsewhere. Would recommend this Lyre.

I love this lyre harp, so nice and easy to pick up. Tuning seems to be starting to hold after a day, which is pretty good for this kind of instrument, I put them all a little sharp to begin, and the upper strings are holding better than the lower, but overall better than I expected. Low G is the most difficult. It feels nice and well made, fits well into your hands and is easy to play bass notes with the left hand through the back. I found a YouTube channel with lots of cover tutorials, and picked up Requiem for a Dream in a day from there which is nice. Also works well for renaissance and medieval tunes and improvising. All in all, exceeded expectations, and I would recommend. Good value.

The wood is great quality. I bought after seeing reviews on Youtube. The tuning is quite tricky but that is probably down to me. Great sounding instrument. Enjoyable to learn. Comes with a bag, tuning tool and spare strings.

For the price a very good lyre. Good string spacing, well made. Only issues is excess vibration on the two lower strings. So far this has been the best budget lyre I have tried.

It's a lovely little lyre but it is very tempremental with the tuning.

It's a nice little harp. I got the 16 string solid one. The build quality is functionally acceptable. The string holes are a bit rough and ready, and the pegs are screwed in with wood shavings. But you'd be paying a lot more for the kind of finish you'd find on an intermediate to professional instrument, so absolutely no complaints. Like any instrument, it will take a while for the strings to settle. They'll detune pretty quickly after the first tuning. Do it a few more times over the next few days and they will hold the notes as the string metal gets used to the tension. The sound is sweet and pleasant. Haven't tried the electric pickup yet so can't comment on that.

I suppose its good quality given the price. Note: despite the metal plate at bottom, the high notes strings will still dig into the wood, just after first tuning. But it still plays well, see the video.

Ich nutze die Leier als Anfängerinstrument. Schöner weicher klang, liegt gut in der Hand, hochwertig verarbeitet - wirklich ein gutes Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis! Wie in anderen Bewertungen bereits erwähnt, muss man wohl bei Leiern und Harfen anfangs etwas Zeit zum regelmäßigen Stimmen einplanen.

Bellissimo il design minimale, il suono e` davvero piacevole. Il suono riverbera piacevolemente a lungo. Arrivata in ottimo stato con gia` le corde di ricambio in caso si rompessero, la chiave di accordatura, una borsa, ed il pick up. Quest'ultimo estramente utile per collegare la lira ad un amplificatore o per registrare il suono collegando il pick up ad una scheda audio. Non ho fatto troppa fatica ad accordarla utilizzando Gstrings o altre app di accordatura per android (ci ho messo circa 20 minuti la prima volta, poi sempre meno). Va aggiustata poi l'accordatura ogni tanto, ma nulla di preoccupante. Il legno e` di buona qualita`. Davvero soddisfatto dell'acquisto!

Première Lyre. Matériaux de qualité et beaux sons avec un effets de sustain (maintien du son). Il y a de super vidéo de tuto sur Internet, notamment Samantha on Mars. On arrive à jouer des morceaux comme les Abel des chevaliers du zodiaque ou le seigneur des anneaux dès le premier jour. J'ai tout de même écrit les notes au marqueur noir directement sur le bois de la harpe comme référence. Comme l'on rapporté d'autres commentateurs, il faut accorder la lyre assez fréquemment au début (une fois tous les 3-4 jours sur quelques cordes) puis les sons se stabilisent avec le temps. Pour accorder j'utilise l'appli gratuite Gstring sur Android, cela marche bien. On trouve aussi des tuners à 10-15 euros sur amazon qui marchent bien.
