Nicky Bigs Novelties Red Firefighter Helmet, Plastic Costume Accessory

Description

Step into the most recognizable rescue role there is with this red firefighter helmet from Nicky Bigs Novelties. Adults reach for it because it does the whole job on its own. Put it on over any dark shirt or jacket and everyone at the party knows exactly who you are meant to be, with no explaining required. The helmet is made from lightweight plastic, shaped into a structured shell that sits over the top of the head. A molded build gives the shell its classic shape, and the smooth interior lining sits against your hair and forehead comfortably enough for hours of wear rather than minutes. Sizing is one size for adults, which suits an average head of around 22 to 23 inches. The shell rests level without pinching at the temples, so you can nod, dance and pose for photographs without holding it in place with one hand. The red finish photographs brilliantly under camera flash and stage lighting, which is why this helmet turns up at Halloween parties, costume nights, festivals, work dress up days, parades and charity fundraising events. It also earns its keep at family parties and community open days when an adult needs to look the part in a hurry. Style it with a dark shirt or jacket, a pair of suspenders, a costume firefighter axe or a reflective stripe for a fuller emergency services look, or simply wear it on its own as a last minute costume. Care is easy. Spot clean only, wiping the shell with a damp cloth and a little mild detergent, then drying it with a soft towel. Do not put it in a washing machine or a dishwasher, and keep it away from heat sources that could warp the plastic. Store it upright so nothing presses down on the shell. Costume accessory for dress-up only. Not intended for use as safety equipment.
