My first floor apartment had 3 exterior doors, and I used these to keep out a crazy ex. He tried breaking in while I was inside and it kept him out! Too bad he eventually got into the apartment a different way and stole a bunch of stuff, including these locks, so I guess he likes them too

I bought these because I work from home and someone recently broke in to the apartment next door. I'm always alone, and locking the door wasn't enough for me. I was hoping they would be easy to install, and luckily they were. Easy to put on and take off! I also plan on taking these to Vegas when we visit next week for our hotel room! Perfect extra precaution and really easy to use. Portable too! Definitely good value for money forsure. I'm really satisfied

I absolutely love this gadget, I was recommended from a friend. I watched a video on how this was better than using a standard chain lock and I agree. With this item there is no way to open the door. It fits both my front and backdoor. Absolutely love it can’t wait to try out with my next vacation.

Works fine if it fits over latch and into the faceplate. If it doesn’t it will just hang loosely between the door and the faceplate. If the latch doesn’t fit inside the metal plate it will even prevent the door from closing because the latch won’t be seated into the faceplate and door jamb.

I think that the product idea is fantastic and I was super excited to use it, however, this product did not work with my door. My door has a slightly protruding seal, but nothing extreme. However, it did not fit between the door or inside the strike plate. Also, it bent extremely easily with only a bit of pressure. One of the locks also came slightly bent. I will, unfortunately, be returning this product.

Just returned from a vacation where the apartment door had some major damage to the door jam. Of course we complained, but aside from leaving the property, which was already paid for, we needed to add security to the door. The door itself was not damaged, but we were concerned that it would be easy to open. We attached our portable door lock, and the door was now completely secured. It is very easy to use, but I must admit when I first got it, I could not understand it. However, we played with it a few times and figured it out. It won't work on all doors, as we found out at one hotel, but for the most part, it fits just about any "regular" door jam. This will now be a part of our regular safe travel arsenal.

Hard to install on our door using the directions but we did get it on. But once on it would not come off, period. Had to damage the door hole, break the product and hurt my hand just to get out. This is a safety concern in my opinion. If there was an emergency you would want any family member to be able to get out. It must work for some people, some doors, but not ours. If it works for your door, great. Should never be used around kids or the elderly in my opinion though. I'm an educated, middle aged person and could not get it off.

This is a great product at a great price! It does come as a two pack. And they do work quite nicely. I feel that this device is better suited to ensure privacy rather than security. However, I'm sure it would add an extra of security if used also.

Muy buen producto, perfecto cuando estás en una habitación de hotel Sola, solo tengan cuidado del tipo de puerta donde lo ponen, se lo preste a una prima y se quedó encerrada en su cuarto de hotel porque el cerrojo no cerraba totalmente y se quedó atorado, ella lo liberó metiendo una carpeta entre la puerta para liberarlo, pero de ahí en más es un muy buen producto.

Súper útiles!! Si vas a viajar, si te sientes inseguro de algunas puertas y simplemente quieres seguridad extra, están súper fuertes. Yo las probé en cerradura de puerta y en una de alcoba y las dos funcionaron.

en cuanto los saque de la bolsa, la cadena se abrio. Lo instalé en la puerta y me quedé encerrada porque se atoro. Si brinda seguridad pero igual puede ser peligroso

Resultaron muy resistentes. No se puede abrir ni teniendo la llave. Incluso ni golpeando la puerta. Son mas grandes de lo que esperaba pero se ajustan perfectamente a la puerta.

Es justo lo que se espera. La puerta queda atrancada y no es posible abrirla, me han servido muy bien.
