ZlideOnZipper Pull Replacements Plastic 5-Black

You read that right. Easiest. Pull it open, snap it on. No tools, no sewing, just snap and go. I, like many others, was very skeptical, but I'm a believer now! I had a fleece jacket that the plastic zipper pull broke completely in half and fell off the jacket. I thought sure I was either a) going to have to get rid of the jacket, or b) pay somebody to replace the entire zipper. Happy to say I am now wearing my jacket and the zipper works perfectly!All you need to know is:The correct size. Depending on your 20/20 - you may need a magnifying glass for this. The number is stamped (usually on the back) of the old zipper slide. This is a VERY important number. You cannot fit fat zipper teeth into a small zipper pull, no matter how hard you try! Your efforts will be futile.The correct composition. Is your zipper metal or plastic? A plastic zipper pull will not work on a metal zipper, so just don't go there.With that being said, I have no idea how long this zipper pull will last. (The original on the jacket lasted only 2 months before it broke!) So I purchased a couple of these replacements, just in case.And now for my PSA (Public Service Announcement): Always remember to zip up the item before you throw it in the washer. Metal zipper teeth can wreak havoc on items with loose threads (think saw blade). lol.

Actually shocked, the thing actually worked! Jersey style hoodie zip-up jacket with broken slider! Simple to use, no tools required to install. May need tools to remove broken zipper!

Didn’t work as a replacement latch

does not really work that great, I wish it did, kind of works, not good enough fro my wife, its ok for me but not awesome

This product is everything they say it is. It clipped on the zipper easily and works fine. Solved a sticky problem and saved me from having to toss an old full-zip fleece that I love or spend more than its worth fixing it. However, removing the old metal slider wasn't as easy as the ZlideOn demonstration video. I bought 2 different diagonal side clippers and neither one could get enough "bite" to sheer off the old slider. I ended up delicately holding the old slider in a vise and hack-sawing very carefully through the metal in a way that didn't damage the plastic zipper teeth. It wasn't too difficult, but extreme care must be taken with this method, otherwise you could ruin the old zipper.

The idea is fabulous, and I really want it to work, but after attaching to my son's jacket, and being thrilled with the ease and apparent durability, I found his jacked pull-less again only a few short days later. They need to come up with one that attaches permanently once installed.

This worked like a charm! I have a "favorite" zip-up sweatshirt I purchased on a Hawaiian vacation several years ago and had kept it on the back of my chair at work as my "go to" for comfy warmth when needed. One day the zipper got caught in the chair rollers and that was that. The sweatshirt has been hanging in a closet ever since and then I found ZlideOn and it's a fixed - perfectly fixed and good as new!I realize my sweatshirt won't last forever but I'm guessing when it's time for the rag bin, I can pop the ZlideOn off and reuse on another garment. Love this simple feat of engineering magic!

Saved money by avoiding a trip to a seamstress! This was inexpensive, quick & super easy to use! Highly recommend!!

Amazing! I watched the video on YouTube a couple of times just to make sure I didn’t mess it up as I had a double zipper, but I can’t believe how easy it was! It helped that my broken zipper had the number on the back so no measuring required.
