Skinny in back for English saddle
I ride a TWH in an aussie stock saddle. The pad is very narrow in the back. More suited for a dainty narrow English saddle. Felts thick and the quality is good but they cut the back too small for anything other than English.

Excellent Quality
We ride in custom made treeless saddles and wanted a good fitting wool pad. The recommended pads are too expensive and not wool. If your looking at this you know the benefits of wool. We bought two styles and two different colors. We love the functionality of these pads and so do the horses. Even in Fl with high temperatures our horses have a perfect sweat pattern, yes with the saddle fit, but the wool is the best in collecting sweat and keeping our horses cooler than other material. I hate to say you will never need another pad but if you wanted a different style or color that would probably be the only reason to need another pad.

Its like having a custom pad for you horse; and you can't beat the qualities of wool !
Have used the Diamond Wool relief square pads for over a year and LOVE them. I have a very short backed horse so wanted to try this style. It worked great for size and has all the great qualities of the square pads (very durable, great fit with the movable inserts, looks good). Highly recommend these pads for hard to fit horses, horses in training/changing condition, and fussy "DIVA" mares that want things perfect ! :) Its like having a custom pad for your horse; and you can't beat the qualities of wool !

Defective but still functional
Product defective but still functional. The wear leather on one side was not sewn down but a return would be cost prohibitive. Very substantial & heavyweight pad. Would've given 5 stars but the withers pocket is too low to be of any use in raising my endurance saddle off the withers which is why I bought it. If I pull the shims almost all the way out, it works though.
