Greenwood's 24v drill.
Excellent torque power, and one handed fitting for drills and screwdrivers etc..

Professional Grade Drill
The media could not be loaded. Don’t confuse this drill with the myriad of relatively cheap as chips drills around, this is more expensive for good reason, it is a cordless drill that is good enough for all but the most demanding masonry / concrete tasks, where a Rotary SDS machine would be needed. If you are looking for a very basic, for the odd task here and there drill, you probably won’t be reading this anyway, and you’ll likely pass this one by. If you are looking for a Professional quality, multi-purpose drill that needs to ‘earn its keep’, this is up there with the highest regarded brands. This is a genuinely heavy duty / high performance power tool that has to be the most comfortable to use I’ve ever tried. It is extremely well-balanced, with quality rubbery ruggedised finish, and a handle that seems to mould to your hand.It doesn’t just look and feel the part, it is a real top performer. Even with limited use so far, it is evident of the power of this drill. For a start, it’s 24V, so you can expect decent performance and torque, and it doesn’t disappoint, not in the slightest. 60Nm of torque provides the confidence to deal with hard percussion drilling, with 2 x speeds, a brushless motor, and a wide range of torque limiting settings for those more delicate screwdriver function tasks etc. There is a useful direction-of-drilling LED light as well, which is useful. It should be appreciated that the drill is supplied WITHOUT a battery / charger (although it can be purchased as a set including battery and charger). The reason for this, is that the drill utilises a universal battery / charger that is compatible with the range of other Greenworks cordless power tools / garden tools etc. There’s a lot to be said for that.Batteries are available in 2.0 A/H (which is excellent), or a whopping 4.0 A/H, for extra run-time between charging – I’m using 2.0 A/H.The whole thing exudes quality, and separate screwdriver / drill / hammer drill settings, coupled with an ease-of-use keyless chuck, make this a pleasure to use. Aside from the 2 x speed settings, the trigger speed variance is excellent, again just what you need for delicate jobs.Definitely a quality brand, that likes to let you know of its green credentials – why not, and one that should rightfully be a main contender for anyone looking for anything more than basic, cheaper-end power tools.I genuinely can’t fault this, my only comments being that it doesn’t include a case (so you’ll need to buy one separately, slightly disappointingly), and it doesn’t include a depth guide (minor), otherwise a top bit of kit. Like I say, don’t confuse with cheapo drills that will puff and wheeze at the merest glimpse of a bit of wall drilling!

Fantastic Drill... But If This Is Your First Greenworks Tool You Will Need A Battery & Charger
The media could not be loaded. This is a great drill from Greenworks. First I must mention that this drill does not come with a battery or charger as is clearly stated in the listing, one must be purchased separately.I think there are two ways to look at this. If this is your first Greenworks tool then, yes it is annoying that you need to get the battery and charger separately. But if you have multiple Greenworks items then you probably already have a suitable Greenworks charger and battery that you can use and are therefore not filling up your house with multiple batteries or chargers.Anyway that is possibly the only negative with this drill, so onto the rest of the review. I've included a few photos and a little video of the drill which I hope you find helpful. The drill is very well made and feels good in the hand. The handle features silicone/rubber black accents to aid with grip and once the battery is snapped in place there is some good weight to it but it is not over heavy at all.Everything you would expect is here, a Screw, Drill & Hammer functions, two torque levels, as well as 20 adjustable speeds. Everything is selected with a reassuring click. I also like the little LED torch light just above the trigger position as my previous drill did not have that. Finally with the direction selector slide in the middle position, you have a safety function and now the trigger cannot be depressed. The trigger is nicely calibrated so that a more gentle squeeze results in a slower more controlled spin, plus you have a High and Low speed gear selector option on the top of the drill to further help with precision.Overall then this is a great option for DIY jobs and I'll be using it around the home.... the only question is how you feel about that decision not to include a battery.

Wow ! Everything about this drill is spot on.
The media could not be loaded. First of all this drill is incredibly easy to use and set up. It comes with a double ended drill bit that is simple to put in and out. The function to turn it from the screw driver to hammer drill is equally as straight forward with just a turn of the ring.Second of all as soon as I got it out the box I was so impressed with the quality , it just feels amazing to hold. It’s light weight and compact making it perfect for DIY newbies and professionals alike. It’s incredibly powerful, more the my old de walt one.The battery is not supplied with drill, but once you have purchased battery and charger it works with all the Greenworks range. The battery is good and lasts such a long time and takes about and hour to charge. All in all a fantastic drill and I am so pleased to add it to my collection of wonderful greenworks tools. Would hight recommend.

Substandard chuck
Whilst the drill is powerful and feels nice to hold, the chuck lets it down somewhat. Using a flat wood bit or a hole saw causes it to lose its grip so that the tool falls out when removing the drill from the workpiece.Hardly a major catastrophe but extremely irritating when drilling several holes, necessitating reinserting the tool and tightening the chuck each time.

Saludos.
