I'm gonna be honest, I'm quite aggressive with this stand, and it has stood up to my torture on it. The rubber pad it has on the bottom will never sit correctly so just remove it and clamp it hard into your desk. Never sags and stays right where I like it.

This mount is nice. Sturdy, especially for it's price point. Adjustable in all the right places and I was able to mount my microphone in a great spot, will be even better when I get a larger desk lol. Holds the AT2020's weight very well. If it ever wears down or fails quicker than expected, I'll post an updated review; but off the bat I'm very impressed with this mount and would recommend this over any $40-50 boom arm of equivalent design.

No complaints for the foam cover. The arm is nice and a good price for sure. My only complaint is that you need to be careful about moving the arm since it’s loose where it clamps on a table. I’ve tried adding cardboard pieces and things like that to close any gaps but no matter how tight it is it’s always lose enough to come off if you don’t hold the arm still as you adjust where you want the mic. Just a slight annoyance tho, it’s easy to move it around, it’s just something I’d obviously much prefer not to deal with.

You're pretty limited with how you use this thing. The swiveling mechanism will not let you do a full 360 degree turn without bumping into the tightening knob. The arms have a cheap quality to them. Very little in terms of cable management functionality. Probably okay for the price, but I do not anticipate using them for expensive equipment.

I use it for e-learning classes and remote classes. Easy to accommodate and steady. It doesn't displace or drop-down while in use. So the mic is not something to worry about during the class.

Go this boom arm for my at2020+. The rubber piece the clamps to the table broke in 2 hours of installing, and now the arm is starting to warp from usage after 2 months. The only reason why i kept using the 2 months was to buy a higher quality arm later. You get what you pay for it seems.

All the people leaving negative reviews didn't read the listing or look at any of the pictures--the thing doesn't come with a mount, and it doesn't advertise that either. Gotta supply your own. But after you do, it works pretty well I guess! I had to remove the protective pads on the clamp because the glue is just awful, but that doesn't really affect my use case. Hey, can't complain for less than 20 bucks!

seems sturdy enough! i would say it is great for its price including the pop filter.
