Does this ballast mount using the same holes as the OEM ballast?

On my 2009 Volvo V70 T6 it slotted straight into the existing spot and I even used the same screws. No modification needed and it has worked great since.

Is this the same as the xenon control module for when you need to replace your entire headlight assembly and modules? I would need 2, is there 2?

Yes, this is. It is the unit that powers the light bulb. You would need two if replacing it on both headlights.

Does this module work on adaptive xenon headlight ?

It sure does! I got one for my 2008 335i and it worked just the same as the OEM one.

if i used it the warning light in the dash disappears? no error alert?
