Direct fit
Direct fit. Only lasted 8 months then became to flexible and collapsed from the vaccum and split open.

PCV hose from firewall side of engine to front, '03 Corolla S
Original purchase was 4/16/2020 when it got 5 star review, but the engine side of the hose collapsed under vacuum on 9/7/2020 resulting in decreasing ranking down to 2 star. Hoses should not collapse in less than 5 months. There are no warrantee listed on seller's site. To be fair, left original review below un-edited.Excellent product, but poor description. For my '03 Corolla S, this is the PCV hose from firewall side of transverse mounted engine (belts on passenger side) valve cover to the front. Until I received it, I couldn't tell whether it was the 2nd PCV hose from the front of the valve cover to even more front; same diameter both ends. This particular hose here has a small diameter on the engine side and a larger one towards the front. Install time using a sliding clamp, 5 minutes. Reason for install is the old hose fractured on the engine side when I was pulling it off to remove the valve cover so long term, the old hose not so durable.

Better then I expected!!
I wasn't really sure if it was going to fit on my vechile because it didn't look like the old one I had on there 100%. Not only did it fit but it also was way easier to install i had to work the old clips a little but the whole project took me less then ten minutes.

Hose hasn't held up for very long
The ventilation hose fit fine! I have an 04 Toyota Corolla that the hose was installed on, recently noticed hose was very soft and easily collapses, found the hose to be collapsing right before bend at pcv valve. Engine had been inconsistent in its operation, I think the heat in engine compartment broke the hose material down and it lost its integrity. Toyota 1.8 L engines give off a lot of heat in engine bay.

Not that good.
It works but probably won't last long by the looks and feel of the product. As soon as I get my original hose cleaned out I'm gonna put the OEM PCV valve hose back in. As the matter of fact, I think I'll get on that right now. A few reviews on here have stated that this hose they've purchased collapsed as they could not handle the vacuum pressure and that worries me a bit. Goodbye.

Just what i expected

Bought one 1 year ago and it failed as the hose collapsed
Took a chance on buying the second one (bought this exact PCV hose one year ago) as the first one failed after one year of use and not even that many miles. Am hoping the first one was defective so bought another because the price was good. If it fails again, will have to move on. A PCV valve hose should not fail/collapse in such a short period of time..
