Compact, 12V back up and good value for money
I bought Zinq Tech 12 UPS backup for my ASUS router using 12V 2a power supply. The product is easy to install and the connectors and cable length is very thoughtful. The UPS is rated for 12V upto 2a supply. I have seen reviews where there was no clarity if this can work with 9v routers. The answer is NO. This will work only with 12V input and output. My router does not have amatching adapter as it is rated with different amperage. But that did not cause any issue. First impression is good. Will have to see how much backup it gives. Additional points to share, delivery was faster than committed date, ans i saw some tampering on the external packing. The bar code stickers were torn and the box was closed with a cellophane tape.. Unusual to see. However no sign of wear or usage on the device and it did turn on so I am not returning it.

Avoidable product
Worked all fine for 10-12 days and then stopped giving any back-up. Took it to service centre after making multiple calls. Got a replacement or some refurbished product, after almost 25 days. Not as good as promised an I am yet to Test is again. I have spent more on taking it to service centres, than the original product. Avoid small time brands and go for trusted ones. Edit after almost 2 years of usage - works perfectly fine after the defective product was exchanged. Don’t know what’s the backup but hasn’t died and seems to be working good.

Perfect fit for WFH needs
Update after 7 months of use: Problem: As long as it worked, it worked flawlessly. But for the last couple of weeks, the router ups has been providing zero back up. As soon as the power fails, the router too switches off, meaning that the battery is dead. Someone else who bought this around the same date as I did also has run into this problem. Looks like a “bad lot” from which both routers came? Cannot say. Solution: This is covered under warranty and I have given it for replacement. Service center says the replacement will need to be picked up from the service center in 10 days. Until then, no back up for me. ——— This is an easy to install and use UPS for your wifi router. Compact, it is roughly the size of a standard laptop adapter. Instructions are clear. If the Input and output power pins need to be ‘adapted’, there are three of input and 3 more of output adapter pins included in the pack. Compared to another popular brand (of which I have a router ups too), this one is cheaper while performing at the same levels as far as my experience says. So, a total value for money. Note: While ordering this, make sure of 2 things: 1. Voltage level matches that of the router’s power adapter 2. The current input rating of the router is less than or equal to the output current rating of the UPS.

Ideal product for uninterrupted power supply for Wifi Routers
Installation: Super Easy. Just follow the instructions in the box. Will take maybe 30 seconds to setup Power Back Up: I have tested this by switching off the power supply for about 2 hours and this worked flawlessly. Product claims back up for about 3-4 hours and while I have not tested to that extent, based on the other reviews, it sure looks possible. Ideal for people who are working from home to ensure that there is no drop in connectivity when power goes (extremely important, especially when one is in a meeting) The switch to UPS was seamless and I didn't face any network disconnection issues. Price: At 1,299 this is perfectly priced and great value for money. Delivery: The first item that I received was defective and missing connectors. Asked for a replacement and the replacements received is what I'm using now. The replacement process was also very smooth as hassle free.

Awesome product, awesome customer service
This is an amazing UPS by an amazing company! Not only was the delivery on time by Amazon, but the company went above and beyond to make the customer service impeccable. I had purchased this router last month because of frequent power cuts and voltage fluctuations that were causing wifi disruptions at home. I have a 12V DIR-615 D-Link router, but its output pin was not fitting the router input pin. Though there were four connectors sent complimentary with the packed product, none of the input connectors were small enough for the DLink router pin. I called Zinq Customer Service number directly and was attended to immediately. I had just called to ask for help/advice on what kind of adaptor I should purchase- since Amazon now has only an exchange policy on electronics. The person attending to my call assured me that they would ship an adaptor compatible with their router free of cost to my address. Some days later, the adaptor came and of course, it fits. In the days of BOTs and horrible customer service everywhere, it made me quite happy to see that customer satisfaction matters somewhere at least. :) The router is working perfectly. It has great backup and initially, when I didn't have an adaptor and was using the backup adaptor of my TV set top box, I used to disconnect the UPS when my work was over. There was absolutely no battery drainage even after 15 days of no usage. I'm always buying from Zinq.

Review after 2 years 4 months 7 days
I purchased this on 5 Mar, 2021 and I am writing this review on 12 Jul, 2023. It has been 2 years 4 months 7 days since the purchase. Last month, I started noticing the backup times dropping, and today as I write this review, I'm sitting in the dark in front of a laptop that is connected to my mobile hotspot because this UPS has stopped working. It's just been 5 mins since the power cut, and the backup is already dead. In its good old glory days, it gave the wifi power backup easily for 4 hours. It has been a good journey, but I'm afraid I must retire this product now. Goodbye, old friend.

Review after 1 full year of use
Bought it last year in February. Stopped working this march, so just after the warranty is over :-) The product is completely sealed. I checked with service center, the battery in the UPS cannot be replaced. However, Service Center offers a brand new UPS at 50% cost with 3 month warranty, if you give back the old one. Which means, you get a new mini UPS from Zinq for 750 Rupees. There is no product cheaper or equal quality than this. Hence i took the offer. My 2 cents: if you are buying brand new, spend 200 - 300 rupees more and buy a full Desktop UPS from local stores. Plug in the router input there. It will give 15-20 minutes back-up but can manage a lot more heavy devices including laptop charging, desktop, TV etc. It is easy to repair and replace - the transformer, the PCB or the battery inside. Combine this UPS with an inverter. This UPS is useful if there are frequent powercuts. Because, in such a case, the UPS battery keeps charging and discharging, hence maintaining battery health. If you have few power cuts, then the UPS remains on charge for very long periods of time, leading to battery issues - no matter how "intelligent" the electronic is. My apartment society undergoes 2 power cuts for each time there is a genuine powercut - 1 when main-line is gone and backup generator kicks in. 2 when backup generator is switched off and main-line is reconnected. This makes me disconnect from internet 2 times which i cannot explain to my bosses while i am working from home. Hence, i opted for Bigger UPS (low backup time but same price almost) + Inverter Option Cheers, Mano
