Hmm. Okay--I am coming from years as a Tangle Teezer user. Hair type is basically 2a (slightly wavy), very long, mixed-texture, thinning from malnutrition. This brush feels premium in comparison with my old brush. Tangle Angel feels more solid, higher-quality. The weight causes me to be more careful as I brush--is that intentional in the design? I would not call the bristles 'soft and flexible', as they are a tinge too firm for my hair type. They are cut at lengths that make them grab my hair even better than the Teezer did, though. Great for massaging the scalp, too. Just have to be gentle to avoid tearing. It certainly detangles at least as well as the Teezer has done when I start from the bottom of my hair and cautiously work my way up. I think both brushes offer the same ease of removing tangles. Angel's anti-static feature is superb, probably better than Teezer's. I feel like the Angel will stand up better to washing than Teezer has, but I also know I've needed a gentler cleaning brush. (After lots of research, I decided on a horsehair pot brush to reach down into the bristle bed without hurting the bristles or scratching plastic.) I probably will not get another Teezer now that I have experienced an Angel. Just need to get the RE:BORN version which apparently has softer bristles. Admittedly, a large part of my curiosity for this brush was my attraction to the design and colour. It is pretty enough to keep on my desk, and stands up to create a much smaller footprint. I got it on sale and would certainly buy it again, even at full price. A valuable acquisition. - Mrs. Eiriksson

I have shorter, fine hair & this brush does a wonderful job detangling, both with dry & wet hair. The bristles are flexible, easy to clean & is absolutely cute! 🥰

Super cute, i saw another comment about how it feels like a toy brush in my opinion it doesn’t maybe kinda looks like it but it’s good quality. I brushed my hair with it and it didn’t pull, i specifically liked this one because it doesn’t have those small balls at the end of the brissels that always break off. And I’m glad I got it! I have hair length to my hips and it worked great I love it. The color is even a little pearlescent! It fits perfectly in your hand while being cute.

i have thick hair that tangles pretty easily and this glides through it WAY easier than i expected. especially on wet hair, this is where it really shines for me. it gets through tangles with way less fighting and i’ve noticed less hair left behind in the brush too 💗 bigger knots can still tug a little, but nothing crazy. the handle is super comfortable and really easy to control. my only weird thing with it is dry hair lol. it brushes through so easily that sometimes i genuinely can’t tell if i’ve actually gotten every knot out or if the brush just glided over it. my hair does feel a little smoother afterward though. the bristles are also slightly scratchier on my scalp than i personally prefer, so i wouldn’t call it super gentle in that department. overall i really like it, especially for detangling wet hair. definitely keeping it, just not quite a perfect 5 for me. brush design and color is SOOOO cute though!

Super cute! This is my new favorite wet/dry brush. I used to use the wet brush brand for years, but needed a replacement after so many “balls” on the bristles fell off. So it would scratch my head to use. This one is nice since it doesn’t have those balls! So your hair never gets stuck in it and it feels SO good on the scalp. It also feels more silkier to brush your hair through.

I am absolutely in love with this brush! It has such a cool, aesthetic design. The scalp massage feels amazing, and it handles my long, brown hair effortlessly without any pulling or pain. It untangles everything like magic!

This is a super pretty brush. It's also comfortable to use. There are parts where the brush feels weird if you have long hair, but it's not enough to dock it a star. I absolutely love this brush!

This brush is totally amazing! I have had an itchy scalp most of my adult life and this brush has changed everything. My scalp no longer itches I can go days between washes. It gets through my thick coarse wavy hair and I love how it feels!!

detangles and combs hair well, doesn't pull on hair

Not good. Will keep lot of hair on its brush and beneath the bristles/brush which is difficult to remove. Not at all worth it.
