Very well made sights. The night glow is positive. The front sight fits the hole perfectly. The rear sight is resistant to the push, as it nears the center of the slide, making it unlikely to slip sideways. Once installation is done, you just tighten the Allen screw with the wrench provided. But the rear sight takes a really hard torque to move, once it is near the center of the slide. This is where the sight pusher tool comes in to rescue. To ensure the rear sight hits the dead center, you need the sight pusher tool and the depth gauge of a caliper, so that you could establish to the thousandth the equidistance from the edges of the slide. Tapping the rear sight with a hammer could theoretically do it, but it would never hit the dead center. The profile of the sight picture is crisp, and in dimmed environment, the three dot alignment is clear. The dots do not align straight horizontally, however, if the top edges of the front and the rear form the horizontal line. In the dark, you just need to remember how the picture of the dot alignment looks like, and you are on X10.

I found using iron sights was easier for me than dots. I like the tritium but they are usually very expensive. These were a good value, easy to install, and accurate. UPDATE- Liked the 30 version so much I got a set for a 19. Easy to install with a sight pusher. 2nd UPDATE- Also tried a set on a G48 with a ported barrel. Ports turn the front sight black in under 15 rounds, but the sights are still very good for the price.

This assy was glowing out of the box, in a low light not dusk or dawn just a dreary overcast day. Have not put it on my Glock 21 but I have few reserves to say this will not kick butt especially for the money, very impressive.

These are great sights! They glow very brightly, a lot more than I was expecting. If you are used to the cheaper, more traditional style of glow-in-the-dark technology, you'll be very impressed with these. If you have the appropriate tools, they go on pretty straightforward. If you don't have the expensive slide pusher thing and your just using a hammer and a punch, take your time, watch a few YouTube videos and don't get frustrated. To avoid confusion, I'm not going to try to explain which way they need to go, but you'll see it in the videos. Like other people have said, the TruGlo front sight is a little bit thinner than the original, so that will make it a little bit harder to knock the middle of your target out than you may already be used to. These are not target sights, they are night sights with low-light, self defense situations in mind. Now, if you really, Really follow the shooting fundamentals and take well aimed shots then yes, you can still surgically remove the bullseye from your target, but you'll notice that your putting a lot more effort into it than before. So at this point you have to ask yourself: is the pistol I want these sights for the pistol I would grab in the middle of the night when I need it the most? Or is the pistol primarily a range gun that spends most of its life in the box it came in. If its the 2nd one, I would not recommend you get these sights. Do your research before you buy!

Purchased this as an Xmas gift. My friend says this is exactly what he needed. He says the sights installed with a very tight fit, and are very secure. He says the sights are also very visible in the dark, while not being "overwhelming" (too bright).
