I did not purchase this at Amazon although 90% of my purchases I do. I just could not wait to have it delivered due to extreme heat conditions on the job. I'll try to make this short and sweet. I am not speaking on the seller but the product. Expect to spend about $220.00 for fan , 2 4ah batteries and a charger. Old batteries my not last as long. This fan is the BEST PORTABLE BATTERY HYBRID (cord or battery) money can buy. Forget ryobi, Milwaukee, makita. They don't list the power (CFM) cubic feet per minute. They've all been test to be around 240-275 CFM. This fan is equal to my vornado 660 on 3 high ( not turbo speed) which is excellent!. This rigid is stated all over the box at 475cfm and it is noticeable. I compared it to a ryobi on the job and his high was like my low. On high( low setting is a joke don't bother) on high a new 4ah battery last 6 hrs on high. Straight 6 hrs. I tested it on the job 3 days in a row before writing this review . It is well build with mutible hanging applications. One battery is $99 but a 2 pack for $99 is availble on line at homedepotLimited in store avaibility. Select stores only. So BUY IT AT AMAZON that's why your here.Bottom line this fan is the best there is. I just notice an engineering secret yesterday. On the back of the blade there are "golf ball" indentations to reduce turbulence and friction to increase airflow. My wife is of a certain age and sometimes likes a cool, hurricane-force wind on her face to combat a hot flash. We regularly camp without hook-ups and had relied on small D-Cell battery powered fans. I already own several Ridgid battery-powered tools, so this was a no-brainer. The batteries last very well and can be re-charged by an inverter. The fan is quiet and blows a nice amount of air. The battery, being part of the base, makes the fan very stable. Overall, the fan is very well constructed.

I live in Florida and when the power goes out so does the necessary air conditioning. I’ve used the fan with the rechargeable batteries and they have worked perfectly.I even brought the fan to a friend’s house for use during a party when her patio ceiling fan died. I can’t recommend this enough.

After purchasing this fan through Amazon I discovered that I couldn’t register it for the warranty through Ridgid. Apparently the warranty only applies if you purchase it directly from Home Depot. Buyer beware.

Love my fan!I bought it for my birthdayIt's what I've been wanting for prospecting, camping & whenever the power goes outIt was a little bigger than I thought it would be, but that's fine.It has a variety of speeds and blows strong. I have a lot of Ridgid tools and I love this brand.👌🏻 Better made than Dewalt and cheaper too.
