Highly Recommend!!!!
I'll start by saying that I did alot of research, read a ton of reviews and watched countless video reviews before buying this vacuum. I am SOOOOOOOOOOOO glad that I went ahead and purchased it!!!! This vacuum was replacing a very expensive Dyson; which I HATE with all that I am!! It is the worst vacuum I have ever owned, and I was mortified at how poor of a job I discovered it was doing when I bought this vacuum. Now, I have a very tidy place, and I do not like clutter. I have two cats but I vacuum at least every other day. Maybe obsessive, but I like things clean. The pictures attached are from day one of vacuuming my 1,000sqft apartment. The canister was filled TWICE!!!! Despite the fact that I had vacuumed the day before with the Dyson!!! The suction is fantastic and will pick up a quarter. It's light and the high pile option glides nicely let my high pile rug. My only disappointment with this vacuum is that it does not seem to do that great of a job on the hardwood floors at my entry and kitchen. However, I have never had a vacuum that I found did hard wood floors well, so it's not a deal breaker for me. I have had no hair tangles in the machine ever after 2 months of use. It socks up the cat hair of the cat tree like a charm leaving it looking brand new! You do need to make sure when you use the spinning attachment to the hand suction that the vacuum is set to low pile. If it's on high pile it will not suck as well, and stops the blades when you push down. I feel it is not any louder than any other vacuum I have owned, and perhaps quieter than most. Definitely quieter than the Dyson! Maneuverability is fantastic and it glides and turns well. Overall I'm thoroughly satisfied with this vacuum and would highly recommend it!

A Super Long and Very Honest Review of this Vacuum, Including a Pros and Cons List
Important notes: I have not had this vacuum for long at all and have only used it a handful of times, so I cannot speak to its lasting power or it’s quality over time. I do not have any stairs, so I cannot attest to its stair cleaning ability. I am also a vacuum newbie, and don’t have a ton of vacuum experience to compare this to. However, I do have a deep love for vacuuming and will try as be as unbiased and honest as possibleMy review is five stars, when taking into account the price and promises of this vacuum. I’m sure there are vacuums that work a thousand times better than this, but for the price you are getting a quality vacuum. I wouldn’t say this vacuum is worth $500, but it is worth the <$200 I payed for it.Pros:- vacuum is easy to assemble and easy to take apart, with clearly labeled latches for all the features that can be detached and turned on/off- i find the whole thing very customizable and modular, but still easy to understand- the attachments are well designed, with the brush attaching to the tube attachment, and they store nicely on the main body- i wasn’t totally sold on the lift off feature, but i think it’s totally awesome after using it. i can get all sorts of new places- the lights on the front are incredibly bright and more useful than i thought they would be- the cleaning is super easy, and i appreciate that the filters can be reused and don’t create unnecessary waste/have to be ordered- it totally gets pet hair out of the carpet as promised- the tube is super flexible, and i love that you can use both the handle/wand as well as the tube on its ownThings that are not pros or cons:- the vacuum steers pretty well, but can be a little unpredictable to control. there is definitely a learning curve- you have to reach inside the dirt chamber to clean part of the dirt chamber setup, which is probably standard, but is a little gross- vacuum is not super loud, but definitely noisy. pretty standard- attaching the lift off feature back to the base has a bit of a learning curve, more so than the other attachments- there is no lever to take the vacuum out of the upright position. i find this a bit stressful, as i feel like i’m going to break something.- I wouldn’t say the vacuum itself is absurdly heavy or unwieldy when used as a standard vacuum. it’s not as light as a stick vacuum, but i’ve certainly used heavierCons:- the lift off feature is quite heavy. not great for people who are older or have mobility issues. i cannot imagine holding it while vacuuming blinds as is shown in the ads, and find myself usually setting it on a table/the ground- the reach of the lift off tube could definitely be longer- unlike other bissel vacuums, the cord does not wind back into the main body of the vacuum. i find it to be quite unwieldy, as it is very long. the extra reach is nice, but the cord is constantly in the way- i also find that the cord is hard to wrap, as it’s very thick and heavy- while the tank appears large, i find that it fills up quite quickly to the “full” line and needs to be emptied pretty often- the vacuum struggles to remove human hair from the carpet, and you will have to “scrub” the carpet with the brush attachment to get it out- the little brush attachment gets dirty really quickly, and you have to pull hair and lint off of it. also probably pretty standard, but it’s pretty icky.- the pet hair attachment can be a little difficult to use, especially when attached to the wand. and i don’t find myself using it over the normal brush attachmentSo that’s my review! Would I recommend this product? Absolutely, if you’re looking at mid range vacuums. It does what is promised, and as long as the cons don’t outweigh the pros, I would say go for it! I had a blast using this vacuum and will continue to have a blast using it until I can justify spending $500+ on a vacuum.

Bissell 2998
I like this vacuum.Pros:* It worked straight out of the box (i saw others had issues).* It was easy to put together.* I do like that this vacuum has long or short carpet switch.* I can see when it needs to be dumped and it is really easy to dump, too.* A little heavy but I have noticed lighter vacuums dont work very well so I dont mind.* You can get flexibility with the vacuum head (whatever you call it) but it also takes some getting used to. I was able to get it in corners and a little ways under my low couch.* When vacuuming the living room where everyone is (including my pittie), it seemed to be picking up the carpet as I went, lol. So that makes me believe it did a pretty good job.* The lights are very bright. I did not think I needed LED lights on a vacuum but here I am liking them! They help to see a lot better.Cons:* I didnt noticed much with the handheld attachment for dog hair.* Hair does get wrapped up around the roller even though it says it doesnt (when it actually picks it up). Im not sure how this would be avoidable and have never seen a vacuum that did not have hair wrap around it. My hair is also VERY long.* I did notice it doesnt pick up everything. We tested it on my daughter's NASTY floor that had earrings, fake nails, eyelashes, nose rings, etc everywhere (because if a vacuum could get that floor to look better, its a winner), and there was a clump of hair it would just not pick up. It wasn't that big either. It just flattened it to the carpet every time it rolled over it.* My allergies did start messing with me during and after vacuuming. Which I was hoping wouldnt be the case especially with the HEPA filter.I do wish there was somewhere I could put the attachments on the vacuum. Especially at that price. It picks up wayyy better than the Shark vacuum that looks very close to this model, but purple. The Shark smells awful and makes a horrible noise after only having it about 6 months. Hence, why I bought this vacuum.I can't really speak to build quality yet, but so far so good. I hope this vacuum lasts years to come.Do I think it is worth the almost $300 I paid for it, not really but i also havent figured everything out on it yet, either. Do I like it though, yes.I also appreciate that this company helps animals in shelters. Good causes will make me a sucker to choose your product over someone else's.

I WISH I COULD BUY THIS VACUUM 100 TIMES
I cannot believe I never left a review for this. This vacuum is easily one of the top 5, maybe top 3 purchases of my entire adult life. I don't think I could adequately express how much I love this vacuum in words. I have had the absolute PLEASURE of using this vacuum for about 3 months now, and I have not one singular complaint. I keep a very clean house and vacuum once a week at minimum and when I say I can run this over my carpet 3x over and pull up dust and pet hair not visible to the naked eye, I mean it. I have 4 cats. This vacuum does a phenomenal job of getting up pet hair and any litter they track around the house. The canister is so easy to clean, it usually does not require sticking my hand up there to pull anything out. Hair does not wrap around the spin brush and that has been nice compared to other vacuums I've used in the past. The swivel head is SO GOOD for getting into tougher spots. If you think your vacuum doesn't need headlights, you're wrong. I can see SO much better. Another feature I noticed by happenstance was how great the suction really is. I had spot cleaned a stain on my carpet with some water and carpet cleaner, and even after dabbing up the excess liquid, I could visibly see the vacuum sucking up even MORE water from the carpet that wasn't able to be seen or felt. The attachments are fantastic, particularly the one for vacuuming furniture. It sucked up every bit of pet hair with ease. Fully assembled, it's fairly lightweight and easy to maneuver around the house. The enclosed HEPA filter is something that really sold me on this vacuum as an allergy sufferer. It doesn't kick back any debris when using, and no stinky smell escapes like some older vacuums. I also like the option to change the mode for either carpet or hardwood. It works perfectly on every surface I've used it on. The only ONLY thing I would change about this vacuum is I wish it had a retractable cord that sucked itself up, but it would still get 100 stars from me. They could charge even more for this vacuum. This vacuum was not even within my means. I financed it, and I have no regrets. Pry this vacuum from my cold, dead hands. Cremate me with this vacuum. Buy this vacuum.

Absolutely Great!
I had a Bissell for about 5 years that stopped working. I guess maybe it was a clogged brush roller or broken belt.I did a ton of research on a new vacuum cleaner. As usual, there are always mixed reviews. I decided on this one because of the pet hair issue. We have 3 cats and the amount of hair that needs to be vacuumed is ridiculous. We recently had the carpet removed from the stairs, which was always difficult to clean.Today was the first use of this vacuum cleaner, and let me tell you, it's a great cleaner! Easy to assemble, much lighter than the previous one, suction is phenomenal, and so easy to use.I forgot it was a swivel type, and although I wasn't looking for that feature, it really is helpful. I like the power switch being close to the top, and the ability to turn off the roller is great for cleaning area rugs that can get sucked up. It even sucked up a cat toy by accident and was very easy to remove.I have a bad back, but this is very easy to use without any pain. The light definitely helps a lot too.I can't believe how much of a difference it made after just one use! The canister was full after just doing 2 rooms!Cleaning the machine is a breeze. Everything swirls around the center of the canister, and just falls out into the trash bag without having to pull it out like my last one.The cord rewinder would have been a nice feature, but that's about the only thing missing on this. Oh and the pet hair attachment is way more powerful than the previous one. Easy to clean that, too. Plus the HEPA filter is a definite necessity. All in all, I highly recommend this vacuum cleaner for everyone!Good job, Bissell!

Great vacuum
I had my "cheapest we could find" vacuum which still works after 7 years but it's time to upgrade as I noticed it doesn't clean the carpet so good. For comparison, I vacuumed a little bit with both vacuums and there's an obvious difference in how much it pickes up.So what I LOVED MOST about this vacuum is that the suction power is great, cleaning path is 13 inches, which is wide. I love that it's swivel, let's you manuver so comfortable around things. Cord length is longer than I had so for me it's an improvement,I no longer have to switch the outlets. Noise level is about the same for my both vacuums so I didn't notice big difference, but it's a vacuum, I don't expect silent mode)) You can turn the brush off so it doesn't rotate on the floor, which is cool. You can adjust suction for "plush carpet " or "low carpet".Also, Tangle free brush...well, let's be honest it's not completely free of hair but hell yes, there's tremendous difference how it was on my old vacuum...sometimes I had to clean the hair 2-3 times just to clean one room cuz there's 3 girls with long hair in the house. So don't expect it totally free of hair but it's pretty close to it and it's easy to clean. I love the lights...very helpful when small particles jumping around the brush so I know I need to give ot another pass. Normally, I wouldn't see it cuz I have bad eyes plus astigmatism so in bad lighting conditions I don't see good. Anti allergen filtration system is also important to my family as we are all allergic to dust. My air purifier usually indicates raise in air contamination when I vacuum...this time NOTHING, so I feel like the system does the job well. What I didn't like that it's pretty heavy...it's subjective but I checked the competitors, they all about the same weight. But it's not really complicating things for my back, even though my lover back is getting hurt often, the wheels move very smooth so the vaccum moves easy. I think it's my main complaint, I wish it was lighter. It has a very cool feature, the cord clip. But while it's super helpful you can see on my photo, just one day of use and it has a lot of marks, which over time will damage the cord...(smth to improve definitely). But overall it's an amazing vacuum, made my carpets clean and fluffy again.

Mostly works well, BUT a fatal flaw!
This is a decent vacuum with great suction power, but the nonsense about the roller bar not tangling with hair is just that - NONSENSE! Perhaps if you have only short-haired dogs, like pugs or boxers, etc, it would work like that, but if you have any long-haired dogs, like my Miniature Aussies, you will be cleaning the bar regularly. And heaven help you if you have any long-haired humans in the home, as those will wrap round and round. The hair pulls out of the roller brushes rather easily, but you need to disassemble it to clear the ends of the roller bar. It's 6 tiny screws, just a horrible design for an action that needs to be repeated on a regular basis. A couple of clip-hinged latches, like the old Kirbys, makes much more sense, quick and easy and no lost screws. The fatal flaw: The spindle and bearing at the non-belt end of the roller bar will wrap hair tightly around itself and jam solid, seizing up and burning the belt. YOU WILL NEED TO DISASSEMBLE IT OFTEN IF YOU HAVE ANYTHING WITH EVEN MODERATELY LONG HAIR IN YOUR HOME OR IT WILL BURN UP THE BELT AND DESTROY THE NYLON BUSHINGS AT THE END OF THE ROLLER BAR!!!It's slow and tedious, the 6 tiny screws and then picking the hair jam out bit by bit until you free the spindle so that it can rotate freely. Truly a horrible design, and I regret buying this machine solely for that reason. The combination crevice tool-brush is cheap, silly, and not very effective, but my old crevice tool and dust brush from my old Bissell (emphasis on old!) fit and are much better quality, so I'll keep them. The cord is about 6-7 feet shorter (about 24', tops) which is too bad, and the handheld wand (which also serves as the handle for standard vacuuming) is quite short for reaching inaccessible areas. It is also noticeably heavier than my old Bissell pet model, but I do like the swivel head.It does suck, however, which (unlike for other products) is a huge positive for a vacuum. It picks up the crud like crazy, and the dust bin is reasonably large and very easy to empty with much less mess that the old one. I also like the swivel head which is easy to steer around and between things, and that it locks in place in order to stand upright when not being used.Overall pretty ok, but the tangly, hairy roller bar is a huge disappointment, given Bissell's tangle-free claims.

Worked well until it didn't
I purchased this on April '25.PROS: I found that it worked really well on rugs and pet hair. Worked decently on hard floors. Had good settings. The pet hair attachment worked really well. Overall great suction. The bristles hardly got caught in anything. Long enough cable for a full tour in a studio apartment. Great for vacuuming the car too. Great filters and generally easy to clean.CONS: It's entirely too heavy for what it is. It doesn't weigh a ton but for a vacuum it shouldn't be so uncomfortable to transport. Unfortunately, in this day and age a cable is a con because in a large enough house you'll need to keep unplugging and plugging it back in. The cable CONSTANTLY got caught under the vacuum despite my best efforts, to the point that the cables rubber cover was completely exposed after just a few seconds under the suction. The narrow bristle is absolutely useless. Just a cheap piece of plastic and cheap bristles that doesn't work well when attempting to reach for tight spaces. Then the difficulty of even attempting to clean the roller is entirely unnecessary. I had to undo 6 screws just to check for a clog.I am no longer with this vacuum since the belt responsible for the rollers movement became damaged. This is on June 2026. So I had it for a total of 1 year and 2 months. So not really worth it in the long run.I'd only recommend this to somebody with a lot more understanding of this brands machinery. Because the moment it doesn't work it's done for. It's too expensive for the time I had it.

Worth the purchase
Quite impressive. I have 3 different vacuums ( one for each floor) which were quite expensive. This is my preference and works the best. I didn’t think the light would matter and by golly. It hits the places I missed by my previous vacuum and I thought I was being thorough.

Prises non conforme à la Belgique
Gros problème en Belgique. C'est pas des prises pour la Belgique.J'ai dû le renvoyer malheureusement, pourtant je le veux vraiment.

American plugs are incompatible with UK sockets both physically and voltage wise.
Shipping a high voltage product in the UK with an American plug makes the product useless and poses an electrical risk.

American model with an American plug. Why don't you say that?
This is a great machine, but what Amazon does not tell you is that this is an American model and it comes with an American plug. It is not meant to work in Germany.
