You want one of these
This is without a doubt the best pencil I’ve ever owned. Quality is to be expected with that price tag, but let me tell you- if you love stationery as much as I do, it is worth every penny. The writing is exquisitely fine, it is comfortable to hold. It’s sleek and very heavy for a pencil. I love that it comes with a tiny metal rod for clearing the barrel of broken lead. Would recommend.

The best led holder on the market-but don’t buy staedtler leds
If you check out jetpens they do comprehensive testing and reviews on writing, sketch, and study tools. I found I prefer led holders for sketching and drawing as I dislike the smell of led pencils (I can’t explain it) Led holders I’ve used before were a bit too utilitarian for my taste, or too juvenile. I saw that this led holder had one best over all. I specifically wanted 2mm led holder: soft enough for shading, but never gets too dull, and sharp enough for fine details. Plus getting to change out the graphite grade and rarely ever getting led on your hand or fingers. This operates like a mechanical pencil but with a sleek design and high quality durable exterior, the window allows you rotate it to display the led grade. I don’t believe it has a sharpener which is the one pit-fall. The quality, to me, seems worth 3xs the price, even though the cost is slightly higher than your average led holder. The les is also firmly clasped in the holder, there’s no wiggle, unlike my other led holders. I’m overall satisfied-if this had an attached, long-point sharpener that collected led dust it would be supreme. WORD OF ADVICE! though, I despise the led quality of staedtler. I use uni Mitsubishi brand leds for its superb quality and performance. (And you can find more comprehensive guides to other high quality leds on jetpens)

Magnificent masterpiece!
So I just bought this pencil along with the 0.5 mm. I'm not 100% sure why but I'm gravitating towards the .3 mm lately. So before I use the graph gear 1000 drafting mechanical pencil with the retractable nib. This was my go-to as far as everyday drawing. To me I liked the weight but until I got this mechanical pencil I realized that the graph gear 1000 is not balanced. This pencil is incredible. It's absolutely perfect for drawing, it is so well constructed with top grade materials. It has the perfect weight, balance. And even though I say balance, it's has a little more weight towards the business end of it but still feels well balanced in the hand. I've always loved Staedtler shading pencils. I've had them, their racers, their pencil sharpeners. They just put out a phenomenal product and this mechanical pencil follows suit. I'm including picture of my drawing because right after I got this mechanical pencil I started working on this picture from beginning to where it's at right now. I used this pencil along with "H" lead hardness. I love the way this is turning out so far. I've always used 0.5 mm pencils and the past and I may just store them away because I finally got a fantastic 0.3 mm pencil that I know is going to be my number one pencil. I can't say enough good things about this. With the price that it cost me, it's right in the middle of the road between one of the best drafting pencils out there and above the graph gear price. I truly think though that this pencil is worth every penny and they could possibly sell it for more because it's that great of a product.

A near perfect mechanical pencil
A perfect mechanical pencil. I’m a self proclaimed mechanical pencil and pen snob😏 and this pencil is divine. Durable, balanced and gorgeous in all black. I own many pencils from this company and they’re all great. I’ve got some that are pretty old and still work like new. This one is a no-brainer. Just get one.

Best 2mm
An excellent solid pencil, good weight, good lead delivery system, overall the best 2mm I can find. This is my third of this specific pencil.

Good, but the lead sleeve
This pencil is great, smooth at writing, and has a nice weight to it. However, you better keep it safe and make sure it does not get dropped as the tip is pretty fragile and is prone to denting. I lost one of these pencils this way, and when you pay this much for a pencil, I expect it to be more durable. The only gripe I have with this pencil is with its lead sleeve, its very fragile and slight bend returns the pencil absolutely useless.

Precision, Reliability, and Comfort in Every Line!
The STAEDTLER 35-03B Mechanical Pencil is a fantastic tool for anyone who values precision and quality. Whether you’re an artist, designer, student, or professional, this mechanical pencil delivers clean, consistent lines every time. The 0.3mm lead size is perfect for detailed work, technical drawings, and fine writing. I appreciate the sturdy, well-balanced build — it feels comfortable to hold for extended periods, and the grip provides excellent control. The lead advances smoothly without jamming, and the retractable tip protects the lead and prevents breakage, making it ideal for travel or daily use. This pencil is reliable, durable, and designed to make detailed work effortless. If you’re looking for a mechanical pencil that combines precision and comfort, the STAEDTLER 35-03B is a top-notch choice!

Yo lo he añadido a mi colección.

Staedtler wowed me
I've only ever used 0.5mm mechanical pencils before. I went on a bit of a rabbit hole into mechanical pencils earlier this week, and decided to get a Staedtler 925 35-03B (black, all metal model) in 0.3mm. The pencil feels amazing in the hand. The knurling feels very secure between my fingers, while still being soft. It almost feels like tacky rubber, but it's metal. The build quality is outstanding. The balance of the pen is really good and feels really stable for writing or tracing lines. The pencil looks really good, too. The only thing that concerns me is the lack of a cap. The tip is thin and long, and since the pencil is hefty for its size, if I were to drop it the tip might bend. Would've been nice to have something to protect it included with it. I'll probably 3D print a small case for it so I can carry it with me instead of leaving it at home. In the meantime, I'll stow my cheaper Staedtler in my backpack. That aside, the first feel and uses were extremely positive.

Feels really good in the hand
Seems like a solid mechanical pencil. I think this is the best you can find in this price range. It gives you a better feeling than the -10 euros mechanical pens available, while not being too expensive. I am satisfied with the color too.
