I love this ring. You can live in it and not worry about its wear, and maybe even keep a backup, or you can extend the life by just being mindful and following the seller’s care recommendations. Having owned a few pieces of rhodium coated black metal items over the years, I knew what to expect. My oldest ring is ten years old, and it was abused a bit (not wiping off oils/dirt from hands, sweating a lot in it). The oldest one is faded in those spots, but other pieces just as old, that don’t touch skin or get bumped around excessively (brooches) are just as black as on the day I bought them. I’ve had this ring for a couple of months, and it has not turned my finger green. Rhodium rings tend to do so once the coating has been worn off. Size-wise, I prefer chunky rings, so I like the large size of the center stone. Since the colors are more subtle in many lighting situations I think the size of the stone does well to showcase the slight color variations (the smaller stones on each side show how otherwise the ring may not be as eye-catching albeit still nice). The band is thick; that may be annoying if you’re unused to it (I don’t mind). The stones and setting make the ring a little tall (can’t really help that— it looks good in proportion to the stone sizes). If you’re into knowing this sort of thing, I tend to get a lot of comments/compliments on this ring. “Unique,” “sick,” “dope,” “beautiful,” etc. :) The ring also came with a nice box. Oh WOW! I'm Speachless!! 🤗🎉.......... okay, I'll try to recover some words here. The stones just spark & shine & twinkle w/a mix of green to purple fantastically!! The black gold makes it so mysterious & excentric...... one of a kind. Who knew there was black gold, & it could be used to such effect! I cannot stop looking at it. Just very mesmerizing & it looks just like the picture. My regular size 7 was just a bit snug w/this ring, so order up if you're between sizes. I love this ring so much that I found earrings to go with it here on Amazon, but not set in black gold. 🙁 I'd love to have them set in the black gold to match the ring. But this ring will go with most things, as it's 2 prime colors are green & purple (no blues). Just get it! You'll have no regrets! It's love at first sight!💖 UPDATE: After wearing it everyday for a year (through daily dishwashing & hand washing w/soap, it finally started showing a peak of copper metal underneath the black gold. So, I ordered another one, which is exactly the same. So, if you are just wearing it here & there, it will last you years! I still think this ring is worth way more than the asking price, here. I've had lots of people stop to admire it's beauty, & most of all, I LOVED it!

Absolutely gorgeous ring love it beautiful stamped and all the only issue is the sizing and it runs big or they'd sent me a size 8 I'm not sure I'm a size 6 I ordered a 7 from my middle finger and it fits my index so that makes no sense other than that it's great gorgeous definitely giftable beautiful fix the description not as sparkly as I had expected it to be rather dull Stone. You get what you pay for and I got what I paid for however little deceptive it's not stamped oh not a little I'm sorry that is very deceptive. Here's the deal I love costume jewelry I do and I don't mind paying for it I just ask get your honest and say hey this is glorified costume jewelry don't be dishonest and say it's stamped that's not okay and if I didn't know that I would not have purchased this from you based on that fact right there I should send it back but I really like it so I'm going to keep it however I will not be purchasing from you in the future because of the dishonesty. I first bought this ring at a size 6. Absolutely loved it but it was 1 size to big for me. No harm, no foul. I bought another at my size (5). They were SO different. The size 5 one felt like the metal and the gem was made out of a cheaper material and the engraving wasn't as good as the size 6. The 2nd ring's (5) gem was bigger and covered the smaller gems on the side. I gave this 3 stars because one was great and the other wasnt as good. BUT they sparkle and both feel comfortable to wear. I like it, just be careful because smaller sizes or at least size 5 has less quality.

So I bought this ring a few months ago, and I have to say, I'm still impressed. The black has certainly worn off the inside of the ring, but the entire outer band is still perfectly black. Mind you, I wear this ring everyday as a replacement for my wedding ring, and cause of my job I wash my hands every hour or so, and this ring has held up amazingly. If I had the means to take decent pictures, I would. I also get an INSANE number of compliments on this ring. I rarely go through a day at work without customers seeing my ring and complimenting me on them! If you're looking for a beautiful, unique ring to wear everyday or on various occasions, I would absolutely recommend this ring.

I love my black rhodium plated mystic topaz ring! It’s a fun fashion piece! The stones are giant and flashy. I would not use this as an engagement ring. The metal looks stamped, and the black rubs off. I’ve owned this for over a year now, worn occasionally with specific outfits, taking it off when washing my hands. The black is starting to rub off, showing the copper color underneath. I’m not mad about it—the patina looks cool! If you want it for long term use, consider buying more than one. It’s a great price.

For the price, this is a great ring option. The stone is clear, colorful, and well-cut. The color is not as deep as a premium rainbow topaz stone and is excellent for under $20. I highly recommend a drop of super glue at the posts to secure the stone to be safe.

This ring is exactly as it looks. I've worn it a lot and no tarnishing yet. I do take it off to wash my hands, so that may be helping. Definite winner! recommend
