Updated: THEY WORK but be patient!!
UPDATED REVIEW: these traps do work!! You can see from my old review that in the first 9 days there was only one gnat stuck to one trap (out of 3 traps). However, just a few days after that, there were tons of gnats stuck to these traps! I have no clue what changed and why they all suddenly started working... but they did! There are still a few pesky gnats flying around but not nearly as many as there would have been. I even put 3 more up (two more in my room and one nearly the kitchen fruit bowl), and they have all caught some. I will add more pics of a couple of traps for comparison. Bottom line: I do recommend these. They worked for me for both plant gnat issues and fruit flies, but it took a full 2 weeks for me to see them work. This also seems to be the cheapest pack/best deal for gnat traps! By the way, the first trap I saw with the lots of gnats was attached to a cup with apple cider vinegar, so that may have helped. Old review: I don’t like to write negative reviews of products, but the company asks for your honest review, and honestly... these have not worked for me at all. I have had these in my room for over a week (9 days), and there are still gnats everywhere. I have put 3 in my bedroom (2 in different plants, 1 on a cup of apple cider vinegar near a plant), and one in hanging in my bathroom. I’m 95% sure that my gnats come from the various potted plants in my room, but ironically the only trap that has caught a gnat is the one hanging in my bathroom where I do not have any plants. In the pic you will see two gnats on one side, and one gnat on the other; the two trapped gnats were ones I caught by hand to test how sticky it was (it is very sticky on both sides). As I was taking pics for this review, noticed the other gnat on the other side- so these traps have caught 1 gnat in nine days. I will leave these traps up in hopes that maybe they will ... start working? I’m not sure why these do not work for me, but I doubt that other more expensive brands have products that are any better. This product is easy to use, and the adhesive is very sticky. I am giving it 2 stars because these traps (I put up 4) have only caught 1 gnat, but at least they have caught one! I will update if they catch any more.

This cute little sticky is Amazing!!
This product IS amazing and WORKS! It takes less than 24 hours for the gnats to begin sticking to these. One single sticky works for months. It’s best to use one per pot. Keep pets away. Especially curious cats. Yes, This product will stick to a wet nose! lol A little trick is, once the sticky is placed in the dirt, disrupt the top soil by, gently blowing on top soil, misting soil, gently shaking or tapping pot to disrupt resting gnats. do this every few days. IT once a few get stuck, they release a scent that attracts other gnats. IF you have gnats, in about 3 days your sticky should look something like my pics. This product is great because, the pieces are small and look cute in the pots. There are no bad odors from the product or bugs, it can stay there forever until product is completely covered or no longer sticks (takes months to a year to dry up) overall the product WORKS. Inexpensive and Well worth the money.

THE ONLY FRUIT FLY TRAP YOU NEED!
VERY effective! After 3 summers of trying to get rid of fruit flies effectively, I tried this these traps. I stuck 2 of them in the rubber bands holding the plastic wrap at the top of coffee cups which were filled with vinegar and Dawn. The cups were catching very little! I was doing all I could to keep fruit and veggie waste away from access to the flies. After 2 days using these fly traps, I had about 25 fruit flies stuck to them. I'm truly sold on these. A great value - cheap enough you can at least try them. I'd have tried anything but didn't need to.

They worked and it helps to let plants dry out
Well I overwatered some plants and got gnats. I wanted something to use right away, and since they already were watered, I had to wait to treat the soil. These are sticky! I put them in a couple of plants and they worked. I had gnats stuck all over them. You replace them as you wish as there are plenty in the package. I didn't like looking at them whem they caught a bunch so I would replace them. I even put some soil in a very small plant pot and stuck one in so I could move it around. Now I can see if I have the issue again and the plant's leaves don't get stuck on them.

Simple yet effective
We recently had a flying bug issue with our plants. They are suspended in our kitchen above the sink. The ground would be moist or dry- never overly wet but we still got these guys. It's annoying when trying to cook food etc. Anyway, it got to the point where I looked up on how to get rid of these pests. Some seemed to be aphids. So the plants were bathed on hydrogen peroxide and water with essential oils. The leaves were trimmed and I sprinkled cinnamon on the soil to deter any sort of fungal growth- etc. My next step was to immediately order diaphanous earth, soap, and these sticky straps. Now please keep in mind all the things done to the plants to try eliminating these pests. The strips still caught that many of the critters even with everything we had done. They are really sticky and are easy to use- just peeling back the covers to expose the sticky part. Both sides are sticky and increase odds of capture. I recommend.

More leaves than bugs
I bought this product to help with a few gnats I saw buzzing around my plants before it became a problem. Big box stores have plants at great price but sometimes come with unwelcomed guest. While the traps are very sticky, I think the "stake" or the part you stick in the dirt, is of poor design and flimsy. The traps keep leaning, won't stay put in the dirt and WORSE, they keep falling on to and ripping out healthy leaves!!! I was thinking to maybe tape or glue the sticky trap to a popcicle stick and stick that in the dirt but I shouldn't have to pre-fab an item that's supposed to be ready to use. At this point, the traps has more of my leaves than bugs.

Funciona
El único problema es que también caen abejas. Realmente sirve para la mosca de la fruta

It works! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
The packaging is nothing fancy which isn't an issue as the most important part is that it traps the annoying fungus gnats and fruit flies very effectively!

Werkt goed!

Catches tiny flies!!
These yellow stickers worked really well and caught many flies from my plant. I used them for nearly two weeks now and already exchanged the first one. However it didn't get rid of the flies yet because unfortunately the soil was already infested with them. I wish I had used the sticky traps earlier! Came with a mini shovel, good idea.
