Got these for my mom, who uses a walker. I was concerned that they might make the walker "slippery" - that is, afraid that when she needed to lean on the walker, it would slide.They do indeed have less grip than the walker's own plastic or rubber caps, but not enough to make it dangerous. She adjusted quickly and the balls work well. We got the grey, looking for something that didn't call attention to itself, and they are barely noticable.They fit on very easily, requiring only a small slice to widen the pre-cuts.Mom does very little walking (mostly bathroom trips) so her pattern around the house is repeated and was beginning to show fine scratches on the hardwood. These balls have stopped that. We have only had them on a few weeks so I can't say yet how durable they are, but they are working for now.

After trying a different brand of Walker Glides finally found one I like. These are easier to place on back wheel with pre-slit opening. They also come in several colors and designs. The final test is for how long will they last.

I thought these balls were different than the ones I've seen which attracted me to them. I like them but they're good for short term use. There's a slit cut to put the balls on the walker, but when they wear out on the bottom they have to be replaced. Either way you go the price is right on them even to replace them. If you don't mind waiting on their delivery I would recommend them and/or buy a couple of sets at a time.
